Prayer Request

I can't find my eyeglasses. They cost me $400 two years ago, and my eye doctor said my vision had not changed enough to need new ones.

I can't tell you how exhausted I am from my broken ankle. Because we live in the middle of nowhere, we had to travel 70 miles (oneway) yesterday to the orthopedic surgeon's office.

The last time I saw them was Tuesday night.

I can't even find my magnifying glass that I had earlier.

I don't have any back-up glasses.



I need some Holy Spirit guidance to find them. I'm teaching a class online, and need them to work. Well maybe will have to get husband to drive me 30 miles to Walmart on Saturday. They can probably make up a pair of reading glasses for me quickly. The last time I priced them -- I think it was only $28.00. Sigh.

Oh my EJ.... what a lousy thing to have to deal with right now. I stand with you in agreement that you will find your glasses. I know the feeling. I'm always loosing my glasses and having to ask for devine intervention to find them again. I'm believing you connect with them quickly.

Hang in there EJ... one more day behind you. How is the ankle doing? Do you know if it is healing properly and on time?

I live in a small community too so surgeons and other specialists are 50 to 100 miles down the road. Same with the nearest mall or superstore. Good half hour down the road. I've always lived on the outskirts of a small town. Around 5000 people. Not too small. Not too big. Just right size to have at least two of everything you need. Two grocery stores, two drug stores, two banks.... lots of gas stations and restaruants and motels cuz the town is a gateway to vacation lands and the cross section to major highways. We live surrounded by wilderness mountains, rockfaced waterfalls and valley rivers and creeks. Locals and visitors hick, cycle, river raft and fish all through our territories. I prefer life outside the urban centres.

Well EJ can't think of anything else to ramble about to help distract you for a few minutes. I'll leave with thoughts of good energy surrounding you with healing and peace.

The glasses aren't lost, just misplaced. I hope they turn up before you have to travel to Wally World.

Husband spotted them on the back deck. They have a scratch or two, but really not bad.

horray!!!! now you can see again. The paycheck can come out of hiding now too.
