Steve is going tomorrow at 11 a.m. to get his colon reconnected. They previously attempted this in March. When the surgeon released the clamp to his colon, there was a hole and feces leaked all through his body. It was very critical and serious, but he is doing better. The CAT scan Monday showed he is cancer free in his colon, lungs, and liver.
If you could please send him some good thoughts, or prayers, I really appreciate it! Love, Dee

OH I hope it went well! Not only is this type of problem serious, but it's embarrassing too! Just so hard to take care of oneself, or gain any support with issues like this. Let us know how he does.

Thanks for all your beautiful words. Just got home, surgery took a little longer than expected...5 hours. Dr. said it took more time to remove the adhesions from the surgery that he had in March than to take down the colostomy. He will sleep well through the night, and I will be there at 7 a.m sharp tomorrow. I can't wait to see him wake up and realize there is no colostomy bag anymore!!!!!!!!!
