Are there any people here that have ever felt like supernatural beings, other than the Triune, have some influence in how your life has panned out.

I have had a long history of either delusions or supernatural (spirits) presence, that I feel have played a important role in my life all the way back to early child hood, not just in the form of angles

I have no clue why I have had this happen, or maybe I am possibly just psychotic.Has anyone else here felt that they have had close contact with spirts before

I never have been able to communicate with them before, and I am not talking about being psychic or anything, just having thoughts, visions and dreams that don't make since most of the time, or things happen that I feel are concessions being made for me through supernatural intercession

Not all things I have seen (halucinations) are good, and again they don't usually make since to me anyway

I just don't know how to feel about this anymore Supernatural presence Supernatural presence Supernatural presence

coral, have you watched a lot of movies about fantasy figures? superheroes? historical warriors of myth and legend? do you think you hear mystic themology in normal everyday events?

it may be because some advertisers 'play'on the sub-conscious memories with ads using and depicting notable characters which have an uncanny way of existing in our minds without out apparant awareness...

soething could happen during the day that 'trigs' these memories...

foe most, its no big deal maybe.. they realize its related to a senseless or meaningful ad (whichever you prefer)

for others, the continual 'trig' acts as a reminder of some character that is trying to tell us something important...

society often looks at such thinking as 'delusional', which in turn causes some off us whove had these experiences to turn inwards, against ourselves and we may begin to do 'battle' with these thoughts...

as the psychosis deepens, the fears and darkness grows within us in some cases... we feel we need to chase these troublesome 'demons' away to be sane again...

what i dont think many recognize is thhat we can claim that part of ourself again and make friends with the visions, dreams and nightmares by accepting it as a deep part of who we are...

what helps is a supportive atmosphere.... i encourage to studty the archetypes of jung and perhaps learn more...

no, I never have been big on watching TV until the past maybe 10 years, I started having these things happen as far back as I can remember to about 3 years old when we lived in Naples Florida, then we moved,we did not even have electric except by generators and no TV, I didn't go to school either for a part of my earlier childhood, when we moved from Naples beach to the Everglades, far out in the middle of nothing, whats now called Golden Gate, outside of Naples, there has been alot of developing there since and it is highly populated now

To me this is something that is real, I don't feel threatened by it, just haunted, most think haunted means like by bad spirits(I think), but I mean it by the definition>visited repeatedly

I dont know if this counts but I met an angel once.

I was very low and depressed and asked my husband to drop me off at church, he wouldnt go in and waited in the park next to the church, during the service I was upset so left halfway through knowing hubby was in the park, I couldnt see him anywhere so went and sat under a tree while I waited for him.

A man came walking towards me he was beautiful African man in a pristine white shirt which stood out all the more as he was I would say black in skin colour not just dark but pure black. He had a bible under his arm and came up to me saying good morning, I replied yes it is isnt it and good morning to you too. He then said he was meeting a friend in the park I said thats nice as its a nice day and a nice park, he said yes and that I am to read and just believe ! He then just walked away from me.

I looked up and saw my husband walking towards me and said to him do you see that man ? Rich said yes he did that he saw him talking to me and them walk away.

I told him what went on and said I want to catch him up as I want to talk to him again it felt so calm talking to him, when we looked around he was gone which if you saw the size of the park you would know is impossible ! Both Rich and I was amazed that he had dissapeared......

I knew then that I had met for a short brief moment an angel. The whole thing was sereal from begining to end, and that I was the friend he was meeting.

I understand though that any psychologist would probably lable them as delusions and halucinations, so I have learnd to accept them as that.

I have had 2 visits by possible angles, one in human looking form. My wife was pregnant for the first time and she was about 3 months along, she had a routine doctors visit to go to, the night before I had a dream about a female whos beauty I can't describe who stood before me, in brightness, without moving her mouth she said " I see blood everywhere " my wife went to the doctor the next morning and the doctor checked for the heart beat but there was none, she had a ectopic ..... she had to be rushed to surgery right away, since it had been in her tube so long

she had a second miscarry later, but we now have 2 beautiful little girls 3 and 5

most of the stuff that happens to me, is just from regular spirts, that seem to be existing in my pathways

Yes, Coral, I do too - but none of them are strangers to me. They are my mother, father, grandmother, and sometimes my best friend who passed away many years ago. In times of need they have given me advice in dreams and made their presence known while awake. Fortunately, my husband is not afraid of the strange occurrences that happen here on occasion.

My mother was like this too. I was supposed to be born by c-section on April 28. One night my mother's uncle (who helped raise her) came to her in a dream and insisted I be born on the 21st. It was such a vivid dream and he was so demanding, she called her doc the next morning to reschedule my birth. He thought she was crazy, but obliged. When I was born, the doc said I would have been a stillborn if she had waited until the 28th.

My grandmother died in this house (this room actually). At the time, my sister and I were sleeping in another room. At the moment of my grandmother's death, I woke up and began screaming. It was the first time my father was unable to console me. My sister believes whatever happened in that room that night caused her to be afraid of ghosts. She won't even stay overnight in this house where we grew up when she visits me.

Just last week my husband had surgery on his leg. I placed fresh sheets on the bed before we left and got him all snuggled into bed after we got home. A few hours later I pulled back the sheet to check his leg. Next to his incision site on the bed was a Kennedy half-dollar. Neither one of us had one of those, and it wasn't there when I made the bed. However, when I was a little girl my best friend and I would pass a single Kennedy half-dollar back and forth as gifts to each other (we didn't have any money or creative talents).

I'd be curious to hear a "logical" explanation of how that Kennedy half-dollar ended up in my freshly made bed, next to an area on my husband that needed healing most.

Maybe these "beings" are relatives/friends watching out for you?

i have had encounters from the spirit world. i dont like to talk about it, as if we talk about it. we open ourselves up to peoples bitter and stipeful tounges.
but i will say, i have seen my great gran who told me when , where and how i was going to die........ and it was as real to me as the pain i feel every day.

i think you are a brave person coral for stating this topic, i hope you dont get hurt by other peoples replies.

Coral, I have had many unexplained things happen since I was a child that I can only give credit to either God or angels. Things that even my seizure disorder could not create. But I also feel these things happened for me personally. They are a sign or a lesson for us to grow from or strengthen our beliefs. I keep mine mostly to myself unless prompted by that little voice inside each of us that tells us this is a time to share this information. I do feel most strongly that we are not to brag or puff ourselves up in the belief that we are better or greater than those who do not have such experiences or do not understand them.

have you been 'saved'? or baptized?

such an event in a young persons life can have long-lasting aftermath for some.....

hi kathryn... i am on break at work and found your question...

i may be getting off track, i do not think so tho... it may take time to develop the hypothesis i have into words...

for a minute toss aside the question of baptism and visions and apparitions...

society accepts that certain events can and do have deep impact upon a childs fragile state of being...

some examples are divorce, trauma, abuse, and even frightening stories...

what is the story of the crucifixtion if not traumatic?

what child can concieve of heven or hell?

what might the inner questioning of death, hell, crusifiction and the like actually play on a young persons mind?

even if one does not attend church personally, our society if flatulant with the ideas and whether parents or media or peers first present the topic, what do you suppose a child might do with such information?

he/she has no background experience to relate to or to guide.. only well meaning adults... should we ask if all parishioners or 'holy' others have the childs best interest in mind at the time they are approached by the young neophyte? what are these 'others' motivations in reality? do we really know? have we really examined the question, or, have we simply carried on as before, repeating what our parents and their parents were told? where and when are these questions asked in any adults life, much less a childs?

is the story of the crucifictoin, or even 'the dark night of the soul' a story you would have your chiuld read at bedtime unsupervised? are any of us capable of of total supervision of our childs lifes'? who then, does supervise the many 'spiritual' influences of our world when our children are alone? what is a 'typical' response to a childs questions? that 'ghosts are unreal?

i do not ask these questions from a high place of authority or to represent that i have 'secret' knowledge...

i ask these questions as a person who shares this planet with many who have many diverse belief systems and as one who has shared in their suffering on a personal level...

as a cosmic humanist i can see the connection between opposites and sames.... both....

and so.... where does this all lead us? to war? to 'mental illness'? ...

when one faction of the self, or one fragment of the whole race is isolated and made to feel unwell and despised and ridiculed, what outcome should be expected?

i am self protecting at this time.. i have exposed myself in many ways in these forums... i have fought a peaceful battle to represent people such as coral, myself, and trm and all the 'rhiannons' of the world and all time... and there are a great many of us who have been silenced... but we are not dead.....

I believe that there is atleast one who never met me, my great grandfather who really wanted to meet me as a baby , but he died before he had the chance

My most recent intercessors are strangers to me but, may be connected to family in some way, they are a old man and woman, who led me to the farm house I recently bought and renovated, it was built in 1907 and I bought it in 2006, I believe they wanted me to bring life back into it before its hundred year anniversary, and made the concessions for me to do so, many others have also died in the house, due to natural causes, acorroding to those who know its history

My first vision (halucination) at around age three was a head suspended in mid air, a female with wet long dark hair , I always thought it was a witch as a child but, now believe it was just someone who may have had a brutal ending, why she revealed herself to me when I was at such a young age, I dont know, I had delusions prior to this halucination also, in a old victorian style house we moved from prior, I am sure its hard for most to believe I can remember back this far but, bits and pieces have always been branded into my head

I also had one talk to me since I have been in this house but am leary to discuss it here, since it is a little wierd, and did not make much sense anyway

I would hope that this is not taken as bragging or puffing, or conceited....I do not understand why I have been blessed beyound mosts beliefs, despite my against the standard grain thinking, I would not claim to understand alot of the experiances I do have, in this respect, but can describe alot of happenings

hi -
i think it makes no difference to "seeing things". if a being wants to be seen, they will show themselves to you. now your belief or your sesnitivity can make a difference (not belief as in religious, but belief as in not blocking the being).
I was startled very much the other day by 2 angelic beings - huge, beautiful, frightening. But then they were gone.
I am not a believer - but i do accept.

Hi Kiya, mostly in my case they are seen in dreams or thoughts but in some cases I have seen them revealed (halucinations), I have tried to communicate with them but they dont ever move thier mouths (except once) and when I make a effort to communicate, through my thoughts, they just disappear

I did have a very wierd experiance (recently) where one actually spoke words though ..... and said " Do you see me " I am a little leary to share this here though, and that is all that was said anyway

i found that when i opened myself up to those things, i was getting both good and bad. my Dean told me something that has really helped... She said "Kiya, you are not a 7-11."
I learned that i had to make clear that i am open to good spirits of the divine (or good family members, close friends), guides, and angels. That others who are dark or are mis-guided i do not have to be open to. Also, that I get to be at choice about when the good spirits can "see me". THat last part did feel akqard because - really, who am i to tell a holy angel of God (or any other wonderful being of any sort of the divine) that I'm busy, or sleeping now?!
The last pair i saw th other day was while i was lsitening to my favorite song while driving... so it was a little startling. But also a comfort to know that just because I may not be on the Christian road does not meen i have been "denied" or forgotten.
It was a comfort.
Kiya

Kiya, you sound similar to me........ I learned as a child the only way that bad spirts can really get to me is through " fear " of them

they can also try to make concessions for me to have things I normaly would not have, they offer it at a high price

they have tried to scare, confuse , and trick me, but I have never let them lead me astray, I have strong beliefs in displaying only peace and compassion in my spirtuality ...... but once in awhile they still try to catch me off gaurd and come into a dream, and confuse me, with usually disturbing images

I come from a violent past and do everything in my power to not
let the past reflect in my future but, whether I like it or not the past is what has made me who I am today, I just " chose " to use those experiances as stair steps to understanding

My wife has even started to accept my belief in spirits presence in the house tonight, the last time we returned from a trip one spoke direct to me ... though I am leary to discuss that here due to various reasons, on how

anyone interested pm me and I will gladly tell

"this time my wife actually got to see what I was talking about, "how they want us here", she went and looked into my little girls room, they have little barbi (I think) pink vanity next to their fire place in the center of their room, that talks and lights up, the girls have been asleep since we got home but when my wife peaked in the vanity lit up and said its little programed saying " playing with makeup is so much fun"

she come back and said my spirts are welcoming us home, I have heard them use it (the vanity) to make me aware of their presence in the past though, mabey a little girls spirit Supernatural presence the bead board on one of the room walls was pink before I sheet rocked over it

oh well just thought I share a recent event, that could just be another delusion, but now my wife is getting them also. i guess....something always happens when i stay gone awhile and come back

thanks nowhere, peace is all around the home and property,

the farmhouse is a little over 100 years old now but for some reason its structure was in A+ condition when I aquired it, I just renovated the inside with sheetrock, cabinets, appliances, installed Brazilan cherry flooring in all but the bedrooms, which have berber carpet, installed a new 8ft x 30ft coverd porch with 3 sets of stair landings, 1 off each end and I left the original center brick set and added railings, the original porch was the only realy damaged part of the house, when I got it but I left the same hip style roof over it and just rebuild the new one on the same foundation, and made it look a little more fancy

I think the spirits are pleased with the home, and they seemed to make concessions to practicaly give it to me, its on a road named after my grandmothers family

but now I want to build "my own" on one of the back acres and leave this one for them and our quests when they come to visit

the hauntings here have always been in peace Supernatural presence
