My closest friend of 30 years is suffering from throat cancer. He's on his third week of radiation treatment, and he's VERY weak and sick. I've been unable to travel out to see him, and I hate to call him because I know it's difficult and painful for him to talk - though he says I can call him anytime.
He lives alone and drives himself to his treatment sessions, but I'm hoping someone will step up and start driving him - wish it could be me, and I wish I could take away his pain. As soon as my husband gets off work today, we'll be heading over to see him and bring some food/supplies. I'd appreciate any prayers you can offer for my friend. He's very dear to me.

(((KathyM))) I will pray for him, and quick healing. BTW my ex Grand fil had this, and also drove himself but then drove on to work
 He did fine, healed after radiation.

((((((KathyM and Friend)))))) i know its hard to see those we love suffer. my thoughts are with you as well as your friend.
Dear Father, i pray that you hear my prayer for this cherished friend who is in pain and suffering. i pray that you reach down with your mighty healing hand and touch him. relieve him of his pain and nurture him back to health. i pray that you be with KathyM as she travels to see him. bless them both with you love and comfort. may they draw strength from you and one another Lord. Let your mercy rain down upon them and the drops of water be that of your healing strength. in your precious name i pray, amen. |
