most of you know my mom has been ill for sometime now. she was just put back in the hospital again today. so i am here asking that you would pray for her. she is both physically and emotionally falling apart and ready to give up. she is so tired of fighting and very discouraged.

please pray for her and for my family.

thank you

Father God, we praise You for Your grace and tender mercies. You are most holy Father. We come to you on bended knee asking that you give recluse' mom strength and healing, and gird her up mentally, emotionally. Give her peace and understanding, and remove her discouragement. Bless both recluse and Mom and the whole family. Ease their worries, give good answers to their prayers, and show them Your Love, Father for it's in Jesus' name that we ask. AMEN!

thank you both soo very much for you prayers here. we are in much need of them.

when i was with her at the hospital tonight i could hear her lungs rattling from the far side of the room. it is a very scarey time. even with constant oxygen, she still fights for each breath. i thank God for your prayers and for His blessings and mercy.

i am so thankful that i have great friends like you here who give their time and send up prayers for us.

it seems that my mother's lungs aren't able to exchange the oxygen and co2 like they are supposed to. we tried to get them to give her oxygen for home use last time she was in and they said no, her oxygen and lung function didn't warrant it. (in other words, she didn't have the insurance to pay). now they are like"why does she not have oxygen in the home?" DUH!!!!! so frustrating to see that the almighty dollar means more to the medical community than human life.

at any rate, she is in their words a co2 retainer. they are talking about putting her on a breathing machine to help her lungs do their job and take some of the strain of fighting to breathe off of her heart. She was doing some better today. breathing a little easier and making jokes with us and the hospital staff. so that to me was a good sign.

But then just before i left she said she wanted it to be clear to everyone that she had signed a DNR and wanted the family to be aware of it. That was a hard pill to swallow, but i will respect her wishes if/when the time arises. afterall it is her choice that is important and i wouldn't be so selfish as to go aganst it.

Just please continue to keep us in your prayers. i do so appreciate you all.

I don't know what your mother's illness is, but it sounds serious. It is never easy to watch someone you love suffer. I really do understand how you are are feeling. My father died of emphazema, my spelling is terrible, anyway he was sick for several years and watching him die from not being able to breath just tore my heart out. Just try an be strong and know you have the prayers of all these people here, I will keep you and your mother in my prayers and thoughts also.
