Me too!!! I like and utilitze teachings, disciplines and practices of several organized affiliations. I just can't commit to any one without a 100% belief.

Thanks for posting, this is close to my heart!

ermmm...i do but not in a way i'm sure ppl here would understand or respect. i'm into things like meditation and like to study things like...sorry if i'm not allowed to say this here...buddhism, krishna consciousness etc...but i generally can't go near anything that mentions God or his Son...but that's for personal reasons.

ooh crikey...hope i haven't said anything out of order in this post...if i have...somebody please tell me in time to delete it...don't wanna get anybodies thread closed down. Spiritual but non-affiliated

i'm certain you are aware, as Best Kids, myself, others, that truth comes from many sources.... combined is more of complete picture of it all for me....

i'm very happy to find others who have educated themselves or been educated, as it were (or is) : ) lol.. i get silly with words at times..

you are welcome very much ... i owe thanks to you i feel

consciously connecting is something highly interesting in my opinion.. when 'common' 'energies' can combine it is a very 'glowing' feeling....

or to simply feel at peace in unison is very nice as well...

transcendentalism is what most closely describes it for me....

i enjoy meditating on the finer details of what it means...

thank you...

I did that for many years until I had a crisis in my life and realized how powerless it was to really help me. Perhaps you're diffrent but I need a sense of spirituality that I can "stand on" and that will bring me comfort not only thru the omnipitent presence of my "supreme being" here and now but that also gives me security with regards to my eternal soul. The only "affiliation" I value is the one that will save me.

i am not without that DocPhil and i totally appreciate what you are saying... foundation is very important to me as well... i have been able to discover a few ways..... some books have taught me a lot, my internal conflict was like the literal whaling ship at stormy sea....

anchor was positively something i needed and when found, absolutely was my building area for my beliefs...

as yours also appear to be from the posts of yours that i've read....

all paths do lead imho.....
