I scored 33. That´s very good I suppose.

Then why I feel like %#@&#! way too often?

I´ve got migraine, suspectly psychosomatic diarrheas & stomach sickesses all the time, back ache, nightmares, feeling of depersonalization... I´ve almost made it to a stress disorder/chronic fatigue this summer, luckily realized soon that something went wrong.

I know I cope very well I daily life: I study a renowned university (and added second study program this year), have soo many plans for future, do this and that... actually it is becoming more and more probable that I will get a counseling license/become a priestess. And yet I feel like %#@&#!.

Maybe I should really go for the clergy thing, maybe doing something meaningful will let me forget about my pitiful health and give me more sense of meaning and future.

I have made an appointment with a good psychosomatic doctor. And a neurologist. Migraine sucks!

Hello Anna. I am sorry for your struggles at this time. Have you been to an allergist many times when you have thyroid problems or female problems then you can become allergic to certain environmental contaminants such as Hair Spray, Cologne, Detergents and cleaning agents. All can cause the symptoms you are having at this time and so can stress as well. I hope the Dr finds the cause of your concerns soon and you feel better soon. Take care. Soidhonia

I ´m sure I am allergy free. Anyway, I see the tremendous rise of allergies as a more civilizational or psychosomatic issue. I can´t believe that when I was born allergies were something rare whereas today every child is packaged with a bunch of conditions right from the maternity hospital. 33? Must be some spiritual crisis or what?!?

Hey, you might want to read something by Mona Lisa Schulz, MD. She's great for the psychosomatic part of your complaint.

Good luck!

Sometimes I believe that allergies are that way too--since we are all over-sterilized (or should I say more sterilized) than we were previous...

Also, welcome to PC Pxi79!

i figure you answered your own question here:

> I´ve got migraine, suspectly psychosomatic diarrheas & stomach sickesses all the time, back ache, nightmares, feeling of depersonalization... I´ve almost made it to a stress disorder/chronic fatigue this summer...

migraine, diarrheas, stomach sicknesses, backache, nightmares, depersonalisation, stress, chronic fatigue doesn't sound like much fun :-(

have you heard of mindfulness meditation at all? it isn't really meditation in the eastern religious sense (in case that puts you off) and one can learn it from people who teach it aside from the context of religion. studies have shown that it can be really helpful for people who have pain and anxiety. might be worth looking into it.

> maybe doing something meaningful will let me forget about my pitiful health and give me more sense of meaning and future.

i think they can be bound up. i know i often feel worse when i feel like i haven't got anything meaningful to be getting on with...

I know about it. Actually one man from my homecountry created satitherapy - a blend of psychotherapy and buddhist meditation...
