[b]I yelled out to my God.
I yelled with all my might. I yelled at the top of my lungs. He listened. I found myself in trouble and went looking for the Lord my life was an open wound that wouldn't heal When friends said "Everything will turn out alright" I didn't believe a word they said. I remembered God and shook my head. I bowed my head...then wrung my hands. I was awake all night, not a wink of sleep. I couldn't even say what was bothering me I would go over the days one by one I pondered the years gone by I would strum my guitar all night, wondering how to get my life together. Will God walk off and leave me? Will He never smile again? Is His love worn threadbare? Had His promise of salvation burned out? Had He forgotten His manners? Had he stalked off and left us all here? Just my course, that the High God goes out of business the moment that I need Him. Once again I go over what You have done, lay out on the table the ancient wonders ponder all the things You've accomplished and give a long, loving look at Your acts. Oh God! Your way is holy! No god is great like God. You're the God Who makes things happen. you've showed everyone what You can do! Ocean saw you in action God, saw you and trembled with fear. Deep ocean was scared to death Clouds belched buckets of rain. Sky exploded with thunder Your arrows flashing this way and that. From whirlwind came Your thundering voice Lightning exposed the world Earth reeled and rocked. You strode through Ocean walked straight through Ocean but no one saw You come or go. Hidden in the hands of Your leaders You lead your people like flocks of sheep.

WHOA! That's powerful! Beautiful!
I think we all feel this one at one time or another: Will God walk off and leave me? Will He never smile again? Is His love worn threadbare? Had His promise of salvation burned out? Had He forgotten His manners? Had he stalked off and left us all here? But, no, not at all. God is always with us. ![]()

You've got my prayers, friend, but don't you think maybe the negative is yelling louder than the positive? Make the negative "sit down and shut up" then turn up the volume on the positive!

(((((((Sky)))))))) From what I have seen, you have done so much to help support and inspire so many here. Anyone that stands for something, at some point, will also have to stand against opposition. Whether in fairness or unjust, this is sadly true.
But I will pray for you. Just lean on your faith and know God sees the true intentions behind each deed and in our weakness, His strength is perfection! |
