Does anyone else with schizoaffective have problems with being hungry? I can go all day or even days without eating or feeling hungry, it all depends if i am feeling anxiety or paranoid. Is this normal?

I'm not sure, is that a sign of being manic? The longest i went without eating was two weeks and without sleeping I went 10 days. Maybe that is a sign i am becoming manic again?

I stopped getting hungry when I had delusions that my food was poisoned or rotting. It was like, nothing tasted right, so I just didn't want it. But I also have anorexia, so I'm used to going without food.

I have no appetite but I don't have sz. I think it's a genetic thing overall. But I don't go DAYS without eating. That's just neglect and/or a very serious problem. There are meds that help increase appetite.

Weed increases appetite.. But may also increase sz..

10 days is a lot to go without sleep straight.. I think I heard you can die after going that long without sleep. I think the record for someone without a rare sleeping disorder (where you can't sleep for a few years then die) is 11 days.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when I used to work in a heavy duty mechanics shop, I ate like crazy so exercises helps to increase appetite because right now I just do nothing and sleep sometimes 18 hours a day.. But I'm a teenager.. So ya..
Thanks for this!
