psychotic symptoms age 13 depression around 20 did nothing about either until just recently and I am 47, so 34 yeas for psychotic symptoms and around 27 years for depression. I was scared and humiliated that something was wrong with me and if I told my parents they would have thought I was crazy. Too this day no family or friends know about my diagnosis. I am still trying to deal with the fact that I even asked for help. It was hard dealing with all the problems all alone.
