I am not kidding around about this. She is really in upsetting me. It started over a week ago when I deciced to take her off of canned cat food because she would not stop sucking up all of the juices and leave the rest to dry out and I would have to put it down the gargabe disposal.

So I went out and bought the newest kind of dry cat food they have and it is almost in cost more than the can.

Well my cat basically I believe is Mentally Ill. She goes into depressions and wants to hide in the bedroom all the time and then I see her what she is doing to me right now she is sitting in the hall with her back to me because she has to eat friskies and not cannned food. This is how she punishes me. She keeps acting out. like that trying to hurt me and she is.

She has been carrying on for the longest. She is eating the dry food I bought only she is pissing me off. I do know this is true. Just now she jumped up here on the computer table and she never does that she knows she is not allowed to do that. She will on purpopse sit in the keyboard then I log out to spend time with her and show her attention only she pulls back and wont come to me.

She is playing mind games with me and I really am getting my feelings hurt because of it. She is grounded from the bedroom right now. I think this all has to do with a certain female friend who is no longer a friend and that she did something to my cat to act like this when she visited a couple of times and Stole some things and possibally is causing me this mental break throught some sort of power she is or may be equipped with.

I only want for her to leave me a alone in the supernatural or what ever mind things she is capable of performing. (SO SINCE YOU STALK ME ==(*()^&*&*^*&)== YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IF YOU ARE READING THIS I AM ASKING YOU STOP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO ME AND MY CAT AND MY LIFE AND LEAVE ME ALONE. TAHNK YOU VERY MUCH)

So I am just really upset over all the mental missed sleep and such since I told this person I felt we were not positive as friends and now all of theses coincidences are happening.

I have a pdoc only the old one quit beginning of this month and now this week the new one who took over on the first is already on vacation I am just bait for the mental health system. #11844

Kris you're not losing it, your cat might be mentally ill. I know a cat that is so neurotic it is on Prozac. Not kidding either. I was shocked when I first found out about it but it's true, they use psych meds on cats if needed!

p.s. I know what it is to be supernaturally attacked by others too, it can be a very isolating and crazymaking experience. Even among ceremonial magickians discussing such things is anathema and you are considered crazy if you take it (magickal warfare) seriously. That's even among those who practice magick!!! Good grief.

Cats are really sensitive creatures. Perhaps your cat is just really pissed off at you for giving her food she doesn't like. food is the highlight of the day. If the food is boring to them....well, they may just become troublesome simply to liven up their day!

Try switching to some different kind of canned food and see what happens.

Take care, emmy

oh boy-
my cat is on siezure meds for epilepsy. Your cat is most likely greatfull for your looking after her health, but they are such contrary creatures like children who resent doing something for thier own good but all the while are counting on the loving motivation- but they still punish the parent. I think maybe kitty is being snotty but is not ubnder any outside influence. Cats have a strong will and are professional survivors on this earth. make peace with cat and yourself.
be safe

sh'e just doing what cats do.......they aren't like dogs at all. i have four and each one has a different personality. she's pissed because you took her wet food away. you could get her some wet food and mix it with the dry......that way she won't waste it.....wet cat food keeps in the fridge....have you thought about only giving her two TBS at a time? she doesn't need an entire can. that's a bit much for one cat..she's probably not mentally ill. just pissed. cats have a very strong independent streak and she's acting out. they are very, very intelligent. when i open my raisin bran cereal box, one of my cats runs into the kitchen and stands by HIS bowl for a little bit of milk....have hope, dear....your cat is probably just fine.....xoxo pat

Pat:

I think you're right, she's just pissed. Cats are temperamental creatures which is why I love them so much. LOL.

Good luck Kris,
Take care and (((hugs))) all

I am the proud mom to 4 cats. My oldest can Love you one minute and be purring. To trying to bite your arm off the next. One of my other cats gets so nervous she's licked herself bald in places. Your cat will get over it. Drive you crazy until then, but will get over it.

((((((((((Hugs))))))))))) and many thanks to all of he support and advise on my cat. It has been a week now since I took her off dry and now she seems to have adjusted to her dry cat food pretty well. She has eaten over 3/4 of a 3 pound bag since I switched her. she weighs 14.5 pounds since her last vet visit.

I think she is pretty much over it now. She really does not like change I cant quite balme her. I adopted her from the Humane Shelter last October 2004. I have never had a pet of my own and is all new to me.

she likes for me to brush her once a day and then when I am finished she gets some treats. I have also gave in and let her spend time as she sees fit in her bedroom. My Cat is Hurting my feelings! which is 'her' bedroom. I am not able to sleep in my bed due to my chronic pain and neurological conition and have not done so since i adopted her. So now she has the one bedroom and the double bed to herself, and lol, once i went in there to lay down on my bed, and she came in and got up there and looked at me so silly and pissed as she has caimed the entire bed as hers. She just sat there and looked at me like saying "when did I say you could lay in MY bed, and she couldnt figure it out.

I sleep in the living dining area and she has the bed in the bedroom and I have the living dining room. to be honest she is really a good cat and I do love her.

I switched her to dry because of my unprectabnle sleep schedule and that way she does not be hungry when I am not able to wake up when she is hungry.

Thanks again, I have alot to learn about her. I know she hates the fact I smoke cigarettes and the quickest way for her off my lap is to light a cigarette, it must bother her or allergic.

Have a good today and your kitty's too-Chris
