Why is that when some has an opinion that you might not like? You meaning any one. You act as if someone is wrong for their opinion. There are so many different types of people in this world. When their perception is different from yours. Why over look or ignore them. Everyone has a place where they were and are going. Even if you were raised the same in the same place you still get different types of people. So many people have been hurt in ways you'll never see. Don't hate someone cause they are perceiving life differently from yourself. I noticed a lot of belittling in the forums. Oh they don't get you so you can be Discreetly rude towards someone. Be nice, play nice. Try Not to Step On Anyone's Toes. For the one your stepping on, Might Not Have a Foot to Stand On. It could be a parent or family member or even your neighbor next door. Everyone has feelings. Take someone else in to consideration before making comments you know would offend someone. As smart as you are there will always be someone smarter. Just something I thought I would throw out there.

This is one of the things that most upsets me and gets me paranoid about society. So many people are rude..it seems 99.9% of them. And so many people never take into concideration how others may feel or percieve the world. One thing that has really been making me sad and mad these days, is how criminals, drug addicts,and Murderers are seen by most people as horrible monsters that deserve to be locked up forever and die and burn in hell or thrown in jail or whatever. These people never take into concideration what the "murderer" has been through which has led them to kill other people. For example, I saw that movie "Monster" it was about a woman who had been severely abused and neglected all her life and then severly raped. If i had grown up like her, i wouldn't be surprised if i started killing people who i thought were a threat to me as well.
Prisons are the new asylums these days. Instead of helping these people, they are locked up in these horrible prisons. Many of these people have mental illnesses or have grown up in horrible situations.

The only time i get pissed off about someone else's opinions, is when they try to shove it down my throat and tell me that their way is right and mine is wrong. Like, religion for example. People can believe whatever the want to believe, but they ought to keep in mind that others have different beliefs and they should respect that and not force their own beliefs on others.

But i feel kind've hypocritical for responding to this post, because these days, i feel as though i want to be rude to people. I've gone my whole life trying to be nice to people who only return the favor with rudeness. It seems everyone is my enemy--always out to deceive me and hurt me and make me powerless, and i dont see any reason to be nice to these people. Everyone hurts me and is rude to me and im very tired of continueing to be nice to them. But even so, it's almost impossible for me to be rude to someone, until they are rude to me.
The best thing i know to do is just avoid people all together. I dont have nor want any friends and i keep my distance from everyone and avoid meeting people. It's the best thing for me.

I guess you must be talking to me cuz I do and have done many things that can be considered mean. Why? Because I'm not perfect.
I've not met anyone here that has been mean just to be mean.
Do we need to be careful? Sure! This is one of the safest places to learn how to get along with others and how to be careful in many ways. There are many who do have more ability to have more compassion, understanding less likely to react etc.. Depends on the day for me and what's going on how I act or react but I do my best.

Prisons and jails have their purpose. We all need to be held responsible for our actions. There are those who consider jail and prison home that is where they want to be and they have no intention of changing. Those are not only my words but from one I met who said just that. There are those that are able to take a look at what they are doing because they've been placed in these places and begin to change. Getting them in a place to keep others safe including themselves is not such a bad thing.
I just went to a graduation in a prison where they received their associates and bachelor degrees and the way they walked and with such pride in their faces it was just the most wonderful thing I have ever seen. So many go in not knowing any other way thinking they themselves are stupid, useless pointless and given this oppertunity learn that is not true that they have much more to offer. My heart just sings. There is some good happening in some prisons. There is always room for improvement of course.

Becka, i get you. I'm horrid to a lot of people. I see almost everyone as below me- especially those who are awful with grammar- and it's something i am trying to stop. I mainly have this attitude because i think they owe me something. People on the street for example, don't deserve a smile from me, more often then not i want to strike them all down for even looking at me.

I have a tendancy to think i am right all the time, and i'll always be right as long as i stay here indoors on my computer in this safe world i can deal with. Anti-socialism is probably not the way, but right now i'm not bothered.

I hate those random ads who message you, and they are so awful at sparking conversation; 'hi hu r u an do u got a cam u r well fit'.

I think very much like you. I think i am right most of the time, even though i usually keep that thought inside. Maybe some of this os because of my delusions, because everyone is after me, spying on me, trying to destroy me, deceiving me. Makes me really start to think i am right all the time.

heh. I'm so glad i got rid of instant messanger. I was so sick of getting those random IM's, that say "Hi. a/s/l?" UGGGHHH!

It's hard not to be mean to people when everyone has always been mean to you, and been deceiving you and such. I am just so sick of being nice to people and they end up being rude and nasty to me.

Yes I am usually rude online for some reason, but very courteous in real life. I do it for attention and to get a reaction out of people. I recognize that people have their own beliefs, etc, and I usually don't attack those beliefs, but sometimes I do.

I try to be at least civil to everyone I meet out in public...but some people just really try my patience...especially people who seem to see me as a target for ridicule, mockery, lewd comments, and just plain rudeness...and sometimes I'm rude right back if they keep hassling me..
