was wondering if anyone has ever has these before?

memories that you thought were real memories and it was actually made up by your mind. i guess that borders delusional.

ive had these. ive had some that my dreams melded with my memories.

This happens to me all the time.

I'll redirect to a post I made under "sleep issues & dream interpretation", maybe this is what you're partially referencing?

But also, I tend to remember conversations that never happened. Or life events incorrectly. I think even memory can be shaded by delusion. And I read something about memory recall in Schizophrenics. It doesn't happen to everyone, from what I understand, & it's not due to a lack of episodic memory... Rather, it's as if we make **** up without realizing we're doing it at the time? And even during different circumstances, one memory might shift drastically.

I do that, mostly with benign things. I remember conversations with people that never happened, or I think I've purchased things which I patently haven't.

Yes. It happens to me a lot, though usually I know they are not actually my memories. Sometimes I end up just going with it because it's so ridiculous the things that are put into my mind, it's like a joke to me. I understand it as some kind of collective and it is many other people unconsciously syncing up with me, especially while I am asleep, which is why I feel my dreams are actually memories. It's strange because sometimes I forget who I am and I think I'm one of these other people, but maybe that is some kind of dissociation? I dunno.
