I have to make a cake for an American I know who drives me bonkers but who I can't get rid of her. She asked for "chocolate cake with spices" and I wanted to tell her to go ***** herself and her pretentious and disgustingly racist ways, but that seemed rude, so instead I'm brainstorming.
Maybe I should call in sick to her birthday party . . .

why do you have to bake her a cake??? if it's your turn to bring one or something, just stick her with a cheapo one from the day old section at the store.

Because she asked if I could and I said "yes", and I won't be able to eat any of it unless it's gluten free.
I really, really dislike this woman. She's awful, but she thinks she's being all radical and cool and "inclusive". She studies development, which never bodes well.

Apparently!! The dogs have taken up the fun game of: dig hole, jump in pool, dig hole, jump in pool, repeat indefinitely. Hence, horrible drought, and I still have muddy footprints everywhere!

Antipsychotic increase didn't work out too well as the increasesed side effects outweighed the benefits so I'm back at my previous dose and insomnia. Am thinking of talking to pdoc to let me try a small dose of Seroquel for sleep to see how that goes. But the day I notice any weight gain on Seroquel, that goes out the window as well.

On a more positive note... wow, I used the word positive. I must be doing better. So, I just ordered the book "Mindfulness for Dummies", which comes with an audio cd of technique's and meditations. I mentioned to my T that I need to learn coping skills in light of the failed medication attempt and she's totally on board. Just now need to see if the new pdoc is on board too.

Sorry you're still suffering with the insomnia, but I'm really glad you're adding some coping skills.

Well, my paycheck hasn't made it to my new checking account. Why did I know this would happen? Never ever ever is there a smooth transition with my idiot employer. It didn't go to my old checking account either, so where the heck is my money?!?!?

I hate money stuff. So stressful.
