I hurt myself regularly for 5 years, but was able to stop myself from hurting myself 3 years ago. Today though I felt alone and depressed and I cut myself a few times. I'm so frustrated with myself for relapsing like that. I did so well for so long but messed up today.

Don't beat yourself up. You're doing great. Maybe you can find healthier ways of dealing with the depression. Stephen Ilardi's book The Depression Cure has some practical livestyle changes you can make to help with depression.

Welcome! I just recently started self-harming again after a 4 year hiatus. But I have a good idea of the reasons behind it, so I have faith it will be under control again soon. The SI forums are INCREDIBLY active, so it's worth a shot over there. But feel free to post around here whenever you need to.
Thanks for this!

Don't be so hard on yourself. You are amazingly strong.
