i don't know why i can't take my meds, besides well, probly because the television show im watching is basically telling me not to.

turn it off? then i hear them out the window.
close it?

they're in the bathroom.

ive been on all types of medications. anti-depressants.

anti-anxiety.

anti-psychotics.

supplements.

mood stabalizers.

illicit street drugs.

i've historically been labeled "NON COMPLIANT WITH MEDICINE". and idk why. some of me stil holds on to that idea that i have to be real and that medicaiotns make u fake

You and newtus should be fast friends then.

Actually I think you have lots of company, junkDNA. My son's pretty anti-med too. He takes it now, but mostly because he knows I'll do anything to help him get it down to the lowest dose. And I don't want any additional meds added in. When he was feeling depressed a couple of months ago, I suggested he lower the dose, not add an antidepressant. And it helped. His mood brightened without him becoming psychotic or irritable.

I'm not anti-med, but I want to try everything else possible before I have to take them. I don't think meds make you fake at ALL! If you have a hard time being you because the symptoms make you non-functional, if anything, meds help to make you real again. Psychosis can be tolerable, but I know as well as anyone else here that there is a huge chunk of time where it's not... Currently, I'm doing meditation, exercise, eating a healthy diet, & seeking a therapist. I'd also like to try some homeopathic medicine but that's a little out of my budget currently. I don't care how hard I have to work to feel like myself again. I'm going to do it! Even if my mind tries to convince me not to.
