instagram rant.

ive been frequenting instagram for about a week.
downloaded it.

theres supposedly 90 million people signed up.
around 12 million that acctually use it.
it SAYS online. idk.

i was frequenting hashtags about mental health and illness and stuff. PRETTY FREAKY that theres even some psychiatric staff people that post themselves on break at work!!!
mostly techs.
some nurses.
also some nurses took pics of haldol&ativan shots "ready to go" they said. EEK. and lots of stuff like that.

what bothered me besides that was that lots of teens - preteens and young young adults like 18-20 labeling themselves as being "schizophrenic" so they say.
now its not like it was one or even two which is sad...but its was lots..like dozens. i did find a few like 1-2 that were actually Dxd that but most of those people either had psychosis and just said they were "schizophrenic" or they did that self diagnosis crap.

I don't trust nurses - I don't like most of them, some are ok though.

They all want to power trip.

I am sorry that you have had that experience, KUREHA with the power trip and nurses. I am sorry that there are nurses out there practicing bad medicine like the above clip that Newtus showed. It makes all nurses look horrid. For that nurse to make a post with photos of meds and an abusive comment is so unethical. It is hard to believe, but I know there are rotten clinicians everywhere.

Newtus: I am not familiar with "instagram" is it like twitter or tumbler? sorry that I need you to explain, I am a dinosaur with technology.

How could someone verify the authenticity of a person like you posted who claims to be a psych nurse? that person who is so disrespectful of his profession, should be reported, fired, put in 4-point restraints, given massive amounts of haldol, as punishment. ( but now I am reacting with anger)

And to think that they hate having to be forced to sedate us...

I mean, if they didn't feel happy about doing this to us, they would not have posted pictures as a response in their humor.

instagram is an app available on most smartphones. its like a mix of twitter and tumblr. like twitter but you post pics. but below the pic you can write quite a bit. as much as you want. its also used by people in multiple countries btw i think these people are actually in southeast asia. i THINK. its like it doesnt matter whther its validated because people dont care what they post. i cant post it but theres dozens among dozens of teen girls that post them cutting their wrist and take a pic and post it. and also people with anorexia taking pictures of their body.

its a free app anyone can look at it
