they just said the judge wont grant conservatorship yet and wants to meet amanda 1 on 1. and that sz runs in her family.

each report is getting deeper and deeper into her mental health and behaviors. the more news thats rolling out the more im bothered by it. because 1: what people will start thinking about Sz and people with it. whether she has a form or not its already been blown up that she has. 2: the acts shes done are semi similar to my own that it makes me travel down memory lane. 3: i feel kinda bad for her even though she has been hateful.

but then again i cannot stop looking/reading it. its not becuz its a trainwreck. i cant stop looking becuz i can identify. w/e MI she does have.

im very sad. if someone that famous gets treated so abhorrently i know for a FACT theres no hope for me. i can hope for this and that and do my best in life but this shows reality for what it is. no sugarcoating it.

If anything, I think her hateful comments are coming from how the illness is effecting her and not how she actually feels, because the hateful things she does do not align with her past behavior.

Next, I'm really proud of the judge not just going off her parents word that they need to take over. I agree she needs help right now from someone but I think she can turn it around and be stable again.

It makes me really sad, too. Yahoo this morning had a good slide show of the change that happened between 2010 and now. The article states since may she's spent something like 1.2 mil of her money, which is a lot since she's not A list and currently not working.

The slideshow is at the bottom. I didn't watch the video.

i thought the hatefulness came from the illness too. but then again we dont know these people personally. we dont know anyones personal thoughts in their head - at that. she may have had SOME hate or discrimination that was exacerbated by the illness and maybe more came on because of that. who knows.

im starting to think if something stressed her and triggered her. i mean getting fired from that movie seemed the beginning of the downfall.

and also i have no idea if this is true but i read some places online that kid cudi used her sexually in certain ways/humilated her to his friends. idk if thats true. but who knows.

Hmmm... I don't know but I do believe something triggered her current state. I think she probably just had minor symptoms before and something caused it to go out of hand.

I said that the hate is from her illness since she was dating black guys before so it seems odd to me that she would be discriminatory previously. Plus I have never heard her be that way before she got worse.I don't know who Kid Cudi is? But, any type of humiliation is stress and I can see that being very triggering.

I agree being fired probably had something to do with it. Or if not a direct cause was at least in the mix somewhere.

Imagine being famous with the paparazzi all around you all the time and suffering from paranoia of being watched. It would be like no relief.

Yes, and learning that he did that to her really, really makes sense. It all starts to come together like a puzzle.

All of us have our stories of all the crap that happens that just keeps tumbling, as you say.

Our sources say Amanda's lawyer argued at today's hearing the actress was capable of caring for herself and she was not a danger to others. As we reported, Amanda is actually doing a lot better since doctors have started giving her a cocktail of meds. We're told there are clear signs Amanda is schizophrenic.

In the end the judge agreed with the doctors, that Amanda needed to stay in the hospital because her mental situation is still precarious. Amanda does not acknowledge she has a mental illness, and doctors believe there's more than a good chance she would not take the meds that have stabilized her if she's out on her own.

But what after the 2 wk hold? It takes a while to accept you have a mental illness. So what then?

I don't know. I heard on the radio yesterday that a "source" says she's doing well on the meds, has stopped insulting people, and is coming around. But, who knows what is next for her.

I go back and forth between accepting it and then not so much.

I have insight, but I really don't want to have an illness like this because psychiatry has seriously ****ed me over. If it's helped some people then great, but it hasn't helped me at all. If anything, it's only made matters worse.

I'm with you---some days I'm quoting the pdocs/scientists and then on other days I'm filled with quiet doubt. Do they really know anything. Is there one valid point that has been made? I know the meds have helped me but why do I have to see a dr to get them, its all control.
