so i got my injection today. i saw a new nurse. she was so nice and talked slow instead of rushing me. unfortunately i only so her because my current nurse is sick so i wont see this new nurse again. i got my injection and i was just so depressed to be there and get it. i didnt want it so bad. but she was saying "why dont you try these others (zyprexa and abilify) and i told her i already tried those and they had bad side effects/didnt work.

i hate this so much. i want to change pdocs so bad. its not even funny. its so ...disheartening to be able to have this team of people yet they dont treat you right. i just wish it wasnt this way.

i sat there in the chair and just wanted to cry because i didnt want the injection so bad.

I wish you could see this nurse again and not the other mean one. This nurse sounds like she might be able to help you vs. the other one who doesn't care. And maybe she could find something that you could try vs. the shots you haven't tried before.... Can you request that you see this nurse again?

i dont think so.
i have a feeling certain nurses go with certain doctors and the doc i have has that rushy bbossy nurse.

i was honest and said i still hear some voices and she said she wanted to tell the pdoc that and i was like "im not comfortable with that because im not having a good quality of life on this high dose of med". but i figure shell tell anyway. oh well.

i really want to change docs. i see the pdoc on the 11th and if he doesnt lower the dose im REALLY gonna be looking for a new doc. this just isnt right.

plus i gained 20+ pounds on this injection.

im so torn up by this.

i got my injection today too newtus. the voices are upset that i got it. does urs hurt when u get it? mine is like salt almost. its not just liquid. it has granules. it hurts goingin

no mine is just liquid. the only thing that pinches is the needle. but im not afraid of needles. so im ok.

how do i find another doctor on medicare? or that takes medicare in my area?

its so weird because so many of those psychiatrists im looking at on here work for the same place i goto because theres like 4-5 psychiatrists in the same building but they all have the same agenda

yeah, I put my zip in just to see. It came up a list in my area but the whole first section was like 10-15 docs all at the same location. And it's in a really inconveinient place downtown where you have to pay to park... figures. I don't have medicare though, but my MIL does.

But there are 7 neuropsychiatrists listed in my area that take medicare. That's nice. Maybe when I'm old I can get some help.

kinda sucks and i been to a lot of these docs already. oh well.

Hmmmm... My son's pdoc didn't show up.

ETA: Never mind. He showed up when I extended the radius of the search.

How are your chickens?

I brought them all into the basement. They don't have enough shelter outside. Even though it's not all that cold, it's wet out there.
