Well I'm back after a really long time. I took a few months to deal with symptoms and new medicines before I just gave up and stopped taking meds altogether.

At the time I wasn't sure if this was a good move, and I definitely can't recommend it to anyone that struggles with an illness. It was hard for a while, the voices got worse and so did the general confusion, and it still is hard, but I haven't been on meds since. Some days I'm scared and I can't get out or talk to anyone, and on those days the voices are worse, but after a long while I sometimes get a day or two of peace and I can think clearly.

I didn't think I would, but I've missed this place and sharing has helped. So I think I'll stick around and contribute if I can, and ask for help if I need it.

So here's the better days

Nice to see you back Stefanian! I'm also basically med-free at the moment (except a tiny something to help me sleep, which is only moderately successful).
