A whole channel of cat videos etc. where the revenue goes to charity....kind of a nice concept.

Rose of Sharon but it looks slightly different than others I've seen more distinctive somehow...

I've finally got the table up in the craft room (it's been too full of junk for years) and I've been busy making leaf bowls out of air-dry clay So far I've made 2 and I'm going to make them with my craft group tomorrow. Just can't decide whether to paint them leaf coloured or leave white & just varnish them...

Great idea for a thread!
I already said it on another thread, but I made a friend. I'm pretty introverted, so this is new to me. I think it will be a good thing.

Those look awesome especially without the color. Perhaps you should color one and see how that goes and if you like it or not leave the other as is or color it.

Well my craft group wants to paint theirs green so I've got to buy some paint for Monday, then varnish them the week after. I am leaning towards leaving mine white though, cos I'm scared painting it block green or something will spoil it, but I'm not artistic enough to do anything fancy... Lol I'm always like this! Leaving stuff cos I'm scared of ruining it! My colouring books arrived a few days ago, but I haven't done any cos I'm scared they'll look crap, so I might photocopy the pages so if I mess up, I haven't spoilt the original. In case you can't tell lol I'm a bit of a perfectionist! :/

Have you thought about making more of those leaf bowls and practice painting on them?

Yeah I said they could paint them autumn colours if they wanted, but they wanted to stick to green. Thank you! I tried to sell cards & jewellery I'd made before for charity, but I failed miserably. I think I was selling in the wrong places because people pay over double what I was charging at craft fairs. Idk. But I was thinking of Christmas gifts maybe?

Thank you, I do too. I worry a block colour will make it look too blah & hide the indentations. I want elegant/delicate, rather than chunky painted clay thing kids made in school...

Christmas gift is a good idea. For your parents?
