I just texted someone with a free kitten on craigslist. They said they still have it. Actually there are two. I don't know if they still have both or just one.

Cute 10-week-old kittens need home ASAP... Totally free

My son follows Amanda Bynes's story. He used to watch her on some program she was on when he was young.

I think it's ok. You loved ur other cat, but maybe it's time. I recommend leaving the kitten indoors. My 2 other cats were indoor/outdoor cats and midnight was always coming home with abscesses. Where I live now has a lot of coyotes so I keep them in now. At first I felt it was like jail to them but it's worked out. This new kitten will be strictly indoor.

I'm excited. I figure I can handle him now. I'm able to manage my other cats. I'm becoming the crazy cat lady though, lol. My sister Mickey has 4 cats and 2 dogs. She never had children so they are like her kids, lol. Jayden is just a sweetheart. He's all black except a patch of white fur on one ear. I'm happy I adopted him. He was the runt too. It's cute, he still trying to nurse on my sisters cats and he doesn't know to clean himself yet. We think he was taken from his mother too early. So I'll be cleaning him, lol. I'm ready though, I love cats...

Maybe I didn't share here how I lost the kitten I got after my cat disappeared?

Someone posted on facebook that they'd found two kittens and were looking for homes for them. I took one home on a Friday evening. It was adorable, and I fell in love with it. On Sunday I went out with my mother and came home to find it dead on the couch. One of my dogs had laid down on it and smothered/crushed it.

I've lost a lot of animals over the years, but that one was one of the worst. Leaving a lively, funny, smart little kitten in the morning and coming home to a limp, lifeless one in the evening. I was devastated.

That's a really crappy way to lose a pet. Sorry to hear that.

It's not free, but I understand why people charge for animals on craigslist. I think I'd have a hard time giving an animal away for free to a stranger on the Internet. At least if they pony up 40 bucks, you know they're serious.

I'm glad my son has his job now to keep him from following these stories too closely. The job has its own challenges, but at least I think it can be healing if he works through the issues it stirs up. There's something frightening about watching a wealthy celebrity unwind.

The one I couldn't find was my cat Sylvie. She disappeared. Then a week or two later I took this kitten.

Yeah I don't watch those stories. Enough sad stuff already for me. I hope she receives help though. A lot of them don't bc their handlers don't want them too, very sad.

Do you think I should text this person with the $40 kitten? The other one hasn't responded to my text asking to see the kitten that I sent an hour and a half ago.

My son and I just agree that it would suck to be famous. Even if you don't "lose it" in some way, you're bound to do or say something stupid. If you're a nobody, it isn't splashed all over the news.

Yes, plus two chickens died - including one of my favorites.

The good news is that a third chicken who was very ill seems to be recovering. She was the one I saved from being killed by the neighbor's dog last year. She'd lost a lot of weight and was wasting away. I've been nursing her, and she's gained almost half a pound. She's still underweight, but she looks a lot better. I think she'll pull through.

When I took that other kitten, just as I was about to drive away, the girl giving it to me said, "At least I know it's going to a good home." It just stabs me in the heart whenever I think about that. It only lived a day and a half in my good home.

I'm so sorry. That's so hard.

And then the chicken, I vaguely remember that...

I've thought I've lost mitten (Midnight) a couple times bc he jumps down from the balcony. But he shows up a couple days later filthy, lol. Like a little boy. Tiger is too scared to jump down luckily. Tiger is the dominant one but Midnight is wild. I'm vacuuming and he's fighting with the vacuum, lol. Tiger is scared of it. Tiger gets scared when I pop popcorn, he's silly, lol.

But I think u should call.
Thanks for this!
