im seeing T tomorrow morning. we met in a coffee shop on saturday cuz it was cold outside. i liked meeting in there. i hope we go there tomorrow cuz i think it will be raining. anything but that awful office!! i am trying hard to get things set up for my discharge. my goal is to be discharged by the end of this month. it is possible that my coach will work with me when i leave still. she has to talk to the upper staff ppl to make sure it is ok. i hope it is ok. i just dont wanna have to find someone new. its so hard for me to trust people.

anyway, school is going well. work is meh. but i still go.

overall i think i am doing pretty good

Well my ex boyfriend said it helps him calm his anxiety down. I was hoping it would have a calming effect on me too but of course everyone reacts to drugs differently. I'm glad it didn't make me feel paranoid or anything so that's good because my mom said after she had me and she tried pot after having me it made her paranoid.

Are there coaches available outside the program? Just wondering...I've heard of life coaches but I'm not sure what your coach does for you....can you explain?

coach sounds more like a caseworker but I could be wrong.

my coach is technically called a recovery coach. it is very much like a caseworker. she helps me make important appointments, helps me deal with my trust, helps me take care of my apartment cleanliness and repair issues, she helps me pretty much do anything i feel like i cant do on my own just yet. shes basically just a support person for me. my T mentioned to her about maybe doing this when i leave. but she never mentioned it to me. so i thought she didnt want to. i was telling T this on saturday and he said she prob was waiting for me to bring it up bc of the program maybe thinking she was stealing their business. so i asked her if she would be interested and she said she would love to but has to see if it is ok. what i will mainly need her for after i leave is when my shot starts to wear out and can help me facilitate the things i need to do in order to get my shot again.

also there are like people in social security for ppl who are disabled that kind of do the same things - like help u cook and clean and stuff. i want to move towards being more independent and doing more things on my own tho. so waht im really looking for with my coach is to help me around the time my shot wears out

Well... I'm glad you're getting it tomorrow. At least you wont be taken to hospital this time. How often do you get it? Is it weekly... or monthly?

Glad your date went well.

Argh! I think I missed the call back from my GPs about my referral status... I had a missed called at 9am & 10am from a withheld number but they've not called back again since. Pretty sure it must have been that as GP is always withheld number.

Hoping they'll try at some point this afternoon... would seem like the logical thing to do.

Bit annoying that my phone doesn't have a voicemail... should be able to set it up by calling it, but it just says I can't be connected. Can't be bothered to call customer services.

Well it's not from the mental health services but just someone following up as far as I'm aware. I called the GPs & they gave me a number to call the receptionist tomorrow who was dealing with it since she's finished for the day.

Said something about arranging an appointment with the urgent referrals team on the record. I'm not sure what that means... but shall find out tomorrow. Sounds promising though.

It can make quite a big difference... I was spending like £250 (~$400) a month on cigarettes at my worst & that was buying a cheap brand.
