Thanks, it's certainly something to think about.

ETA: although I have to take taxis everywhere because I can't use public transportation (bad back) and I wouldn't want anyone knowing where I was going.

hmm, maybe you could find a cheap taxi?
I wonder if there are any volunteers too, who could drive you there? (Some cities seem to have something like that.) Maybe once there, you could find others who live around where you live, and could give you a ride?
There's a Hearing Voices online forum too.

I think there's nothing shameful in going to a support group! Or are you afraid psychiatrist might find out and up the dosage of meds? What's the worst that could happen if anyone found out?
Thanks for this!

Well, I live around very unsophisticated people. I'd rather they didn't know any more about me other than I'm a little eccentric.

Okay, I can understand that. A taxi driver probably won't tell though.

They gossiped like wild last time I went into the hospital. It was pretty bad. : / Small town, here.

Oh, I understand. Live in a small town too. Sorry to hear about it. Well, let'em gossip if they are so bored! I was uncomfortable with my neighbours knowing about me being in the mh hospital too, but in a way I'm relieved they know, so I don't have to hide. If that makes sense?
You probably didn't go in a taxi, were you hospitalized by the ambulance?
Is it very far to a support group? (Would it cost a lot?)
Thanks for this!

It would cost a lot in taxi fare. But yes, I went to the ER several times on taxis and once in an ambulance when I was forced off benzos.

Yeah, benzo withdrawal can be tough. did you get any proper support for it? (There are support sites online, if you might still be experiencing some of it?)
PS Did you sleep well this night?
Thanks for this!

I slept OK. It was quiet again except for I left the TV on pretty loud and it bugged me. I didn't end up getting any support at all for the being forced off benzos. Damn nurse should be in prison for that. At some points I was on 13 mg of Klonopin per day in 2007. I was on them for 30 years. But the itchB didn't know that.

YAY for sleeping OK! Can you maybe turn down the TV a little tonight and see if it will still be okay?
I read that doctors and others can be notorious about minimizing or not realizing the 'damage' or problems of withdrawal. Sorry to hear you had to go through that.
Are you okay-ish now or still experiencing withdrawal symptoms?
Thanks for this!

Thanks, yes. I have benzodiazepene withdrawal syndrome. I'm very surprised by the quiet the past three nights. It hasn't been quiet since some nights in July.

How long have you had this withdrawal syndrome? What does it look like? And has it gotten any better?

Glad to hear it's been quiet for the past 3 nights! Do let us know how it goes this night tomorrow too!
Thanks for this!

Since March 2013. It SHOULD get easier. But it doesn't. What else did you ask?

Wow, Benzo Withdrawal Syndrome sounds horrible, did they at least taper you off the stuff?
Thanks for this!

Not much. Even tapering off would be agony.
