Glad to say my Sister & her family have just gone home... it was nice seeing them all but having a toddler and baby around was just too much noise...

Interestingly now with less distractions my voices are around a bit more already but still quiet. Not sure what'll happen when I go back to my flat & have the extra stress of looking after myself & I am alone too but I am hopeful things will remain largely ok. Probably about 2 weeks until that happens!

Been with my parents for almost 3 months now & I will be glad to be independent again soon.

That happened to me once and totally changed the way I drove---I'm much more conservative now...

One really bad winter here, I was going to my sisters and its a really steep hill going up and my care started spinning and spinning like 5 times. And it was going backwards too. Finally a man saw and came out and helped me get it under control. He drove it up to the top of the hill for me. It was so freaking scary....

Once I get driving again I don't think I'm gonna drive in really bad winters.

Yeah when I'm feeling paranoid or in a mixed state I can't watch any true crime shows or any csi or similar. I get bad nightmares if I do.

i had a bad wreck in 2012 where i rolled my car 3 times and i wasnt wearing a seat belt.i ended up in the back seat. my car was totaled. but somehow i made it out with just a scratch on my head and a bruised rib. i was really very lucky. i guess my car spinning out just triggered all that again.

sorry about ur guys experiences. driving can be scary

Anyone doing resolutions for new years? I think I'm going to try adding more exercise....haven't decided exactly what yet....it may be just that generic because I'm more likely to stick with it if I can change it up a bit...

hm i havent really thought about making one. i quit doing that after my teenage years.most people fail their resolutions. especially ones that start them exactly on Jan 1st. like the whole gym thing. i heard theres a rise in gym memberships the first two months of the year.

but just for the sake of fun im going to go with my resolution being to pass school

man this tapatalk app sucks. psych central has come together with tapatalk so people could use their forum on mobile devices easily...ive been using tapatalk on my iphones for using this forum for a couple of years now. but theyve kept updating it into it being worse and worse.

I think if you make them vague they are easier to keep---so instead of I'm going on a diet and want to lose X pounds you just say I'll eat healthier. Instead of I'm joining a gym and doing 5 30 minute workouts a week then you say I'm going to exercise more----more might be once a week or once a month for that matter. I hadn't done them in a long time either, but there is this emphasis on goals in therapy so I thought I had better come up with at least one.

I haven't been on in awhile, it's cool how bean now has an account on here, does punky still come on? How is everyone?

My support system fell through in October and I was pretty psychotic and manic for awhile then got hospitalized. One of my best friends doesn't really talk to me as much so I feel pretty sad about that. I'm being more productive and not manic atm, but I'm pretty sad about my friend. I started working out again and being more clean. I am getting my Associate's degree this spring then going to a 4 year uni to major in clinical pathology so that's exciting. Even though I'm a Buddhist I celebrated Christmas with my family and it was great. It's nice to be on winter break right now.

Good to hear from you---it has been a while, I'm sorry you were psychotic/manic/hospitalized but glad your school is working out and that you had fun with your family.

Yeah it has and I loved my microbiology class I took. I can't wait to take clinical microbiology in the fall (:

Even when I'm not doing well I always make sure uni is my first priority since having an education is very important to me. I didn't give up this semester which I'm proud of, but I didn't get all As since I wasn't doing too well. I got a SLR camera for Christmas so I have photography as a hobby now.

Nice--I love photography but an SLR is still out of my price range---I just get by with my megazoom...

Your megazoom takes pretty good pictures. My pictures sometimes come out blurry because I have small tremors, but I took some great pictures of geese the other day.

About new years resolutions, I haven't thought about it much. But I'm sure I'll make one.

Tmi but I'm on my period again. It was just a couple weeks ago that I had one, wtf!

Just got off the phone with my therapist. I'm gonna try and make it work out....

Nice to see you medical Fox.
