Sometimes I have racing thoughts, and in that moment I can speak really fast. I can type really fast. I also get this burst of energy ,and i also think that I'm better than everyone else. I've been diagnosed with psychotic depression .I've had it for a about a year now .I'm wondering if this could be a sign of anything else?

It could be a sign of bipolar, but it's best to talk to your doctor about this

Just so you have some info: Bipolar is where you have episodes of symptoms like feeling on top of the world, invincible, racing thoughts, fast talking, bursts of energy, getting by on little sleep, feel like you can do anything. Can be accompanied by poor judgment, impulsiveness, spending sprees, hyper-sexuality. That swings with episodes of extreme irritability and/or depression. The depression can get very severe. There are also usually periods of time of 'normalcy.' The length of time each of these episodes lasts varies from one person with bipolar to the next.

Like Blue Bird said, a psychiatrist will be the best one to evaluate and guide you.
