I guess I see your point but Pokemon Yellow was 20 years ago... I love the nostalgia. It’s familiar but not repetitive in anyway since it’s been so long.

I’m definitely looking forward to Sword and Shield though!

Any recommendations for PC games or phone games?

Never really played many but interested in trying some out.

Soooooo, I ended up having some extra money saved due to tutoring last semester and from my regular savings, I decided to just splurge and ordered a Switch today, I think it's a good investment since I absolutely love videogames

That’s awesome @Blue_Bird

What games did you buy with it? When’s it due to be delivered?

I’d recommend getting a screen protector if you didn’t already. Just makes sure the screen doesn’t get damaged putting it in and out of the dock.

The only other accessory I have is a case that fits the switch (without dock or power adapter) with space for 5 games. Handy if you want to travel with it.

It says it will be here the 28th or 29th I bough Pokémon let's Go: Pikachu (with the pokeball accessory thing) and Stardew Valley, I figured that's enough for right now. I might possibly get another game next month. Truberbrook looks really cool so I might pre order that. It comes out April 23rd.

I'll have to get a screen protector then, I didn't think about that. I'll stop by the store in the next week and grab one

There's tons of games on my list to get and also ones that will be released I want but I'm starting off slow since I already have a lot of games on my 360 and 3DS I still want to play as well

Cool.

I didn’t bother with the pokeball controller. Looks fun but pretty expensive for what it is... let me know what you think of it!

If you ever want to trade Pokemon on Lets Go to get version specifics or the few final evolutions that need trades just shout. You do need an online subscription though but you can get a weeks trial or just buy a month for dirt cheap.

I’ve finished the main game and am just doing post game stuff now. I’m doing some master trainers. Very time consuming though so might not do them all... but I think I will aim to complete my Pokédex.

*edit* - oh wait we will have the same version. Still I might have spare from Pokemon Go I can fire your way. That’s how I got all the version specific ones myself.

I started out this year thinking there were only a few releases I’d be wanting... now the list just keeps growing!

Just heard they are releasing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy on Switch next month. I’d looked into it ages ago for my 3DS but I can’t remember why I never bought it. Looks really good. Another one added to my watchlist... maybe it’ll go on sale sometime...

When the Nintendo Switch first came out I didn't think I'd ever get one, it didn't seem like there were enough titles I was interested in to justify getting it, but then Pokemon Lets Go came out and I knew I had to get it because I'm a huge Pokemon fan and then n the recent Nintendo Direct that they announced Pokemon Sword and Shield there were so many other games they showed I want to get, I've got a huge list now for Switch games I want to get eventually lol

So Bethesda is giving away Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for free on PC until the weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Elder Scrolls.

I signed up and downloaded it onto my PC. It’s a really old game though so only supports 4:3 resolutions. I found a custom patch that is meant to allow widescreen resolutions as well as many other bug fixes. Yet to set that up as it’ll take some fiddling but I will get around to it when I want to play the game.

I played The Hobbit Lego for 40 minutes earlier today and then found out none of my progress saved, but I figured it out, played through to where I was again and found out how to save

Nintendo Switch. I play non-violent games, don’t like blood or graphic violence. I don’t like games that stress me out. They help stop the thoughts in my head. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Addict and FIFA 19

Plan on playing a game of Arkham Horror today (it's a LCG/Living Card Game) based on H.P Lovecraft's stories. It's not a videogame but I thought I'd post it here since I don't want to make a new thread just for that

I loved wrestling back in the day... used to record it on VHS when it was on in the middle of the night.

I think the only wrestling game I played loads was Wrestlemania 2000 on N64.

I’ve got to say you’ve made me curious as to what games are on offer for current gen although maybe it wouldn’t be the same without all the big names I knew. Although maybe they included them too? I don’t know...

Yeah I have no idea who's on the new ones either, I was wondering about that too.

Oh yeah, I used to record it on VHS also! Videogame thread?
