Anyone play Civilization VI ? It looks interesting, I've been reading reviews about it. I've never played any of the previous Civilization games, I never knew about them

I’ve been replaying the Uncharted games on my PS4. I finished the first and am now on Among Thieves. Forgot how good they were.

I’ve heard of them but don’t really know anything about them.

Those games look great. It would be awesome to play as Athens or Sparta, and have hoplites warring against hoplites (greek soldiers). Those games are so massive. I use to play Warcraft III. They were really fun. They are similar I think.

So I decided I'm going to make my Animal Crossing New Leaf town Eastern/Japanese themed. I might make a Halloween/horror themed house.

Just played Animal Crossing for an hour and a half. It was so relaxing, that's one of the reasons I love it, it's a very chill game

Pokemon gen 8 too hopefully. And there have been rumours of a new variant of the Switch too. Interesting to see what comes up for sure.

No news on Pokemon or Animal Crossing from this Direct but there are some awesome games coming out that I'm looking forward to (I'll be buying a Switch next month!) Also, I'm really excited about the remaster of Zelda: Links Awakening for Switch. It looks stunning!

Games I am excited for are:
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
  • FFIX (I already bought it twice on PS3 and PC but may well do so again for Switch)
  • Astral Chain looked intriguing
  • Possibly Fire Emblem: Three Houses ... never played the franchise but might be tempted
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
  • Oninaki
  • Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice ... obviously on other consoles but I never got around to playing it.

They look awesome. I’m just patiently waiting for BeatEmUps to do a video on it.

What do you guys think about the new starter Pokemon?

I think Sobble looked kind of cool. Of course my preferences might change when I see the evolved forms but that’s my first choice. After that it’d be Grookey and I really wasn’t that taken by Scorbunny.

I liked Sobble too. I seem to never really like any of the starters evolved forms with the exception of the original starters, bulbasaur, squirtle, and charmander. I feel like every time the newer starters evolve they don't look as good

I’d really recommend watching these videos anylasing the trailer and map for Sword and Shield. Reveals a lot of interesting things.
