Maybe you could make it a habit to take it directly after dinner. That way, you can associate your dinner with your meds and you won't forget and keep perfect track. That's what I do.
Thanks for this!

I used to work at a nursing home and watching the decline of the people with Alzheimer's was gut wrenching.

As for dementia, when i was having memory issues, I told my psychologist that my father also has schizophrenia and she asked if he had dementia. I struck me as a weird question...
Thanks for this!

Take it with your dinner. You'll eventually get used to it. I'm still waiting for the day I get used to it.

People with sz can have early onset dementia so she may have been asking because of that.....

Yes, my mother's mother suffered and the whole family was torn apart. I was pretty sure I was getting it, this past few years, and it could be that some forms of dementia skip a generation. Here they told me I did not have dementia but I'm worried because of my grandmother. My mom just turned 89 and she has no signs of dementia at all. But her brother got dementia too and died of it. It's not affecting my relatives from my family of origin. I'm still very afraid.

I'd imagine working at a nursing home can be depressing in general. I could never go and take care of older people like I did with my grandmother who was brain damaged from surgery.

She couldn't calm down until I told her she could bring the matter up to the social worker (who's a master of keeping calm and the art of diplomacy). So, she did. The cool girl got moved out of the group 2 smokers, into the group 1 smokers. Since then, just suddenly last week, the cool kids were pumping her for something, or somehow trying to draw her out. I have given the whole situation to God because I can't deal with it anymore.

Anyway, I had wondered if early onset dementia could have any psychotic features because she was really worked up about that cool grey haired girl. I have a sense of expectancy about when I might be leaving here. My therapist probably has a say in it. Maybe I should just go to that place and say nothing about vaping. It would probably be the fastest ticket out of here. But I wouldn't get a private room. I'd have a roommate, so that's another strike against it. Forget vaping once someone else is involved. For some reason she's been pushing that place into my face. (The conservator)
Maybe because she is hearing you are having a really rough time where you are and maybe she wants you to be happy. Maybe she does not think vaping is good for you. I know when my mother was in assisted living she got to drink alcohol even though she was an alcoholic just so she would shut up.
Thanks for this!

It was my favorite job ever. It could be depressing But there were also great things. I miss my residents. Of course they are all gone now.

No, she doesn't know anything about vaping. I don't know what to do about it. She is still a smoker, so she has an addiction she can compare it to.

They never do! It always happens when i renew my rx for relpax. (For migraines) They never send it for auth until i make them. Fortunately i know that one will require it because theres no generic, so i call.
I didn't anticipate this problem. This is just changing to controlled release zolpiderm (ambien) It's so frustrating. I will call the dr's office tomorrow to ensure they got it from the pharmacy to send.
Thanks for this!

That is frustrating. I hope the prior auth goes through without any trouble.
