Well, I see now that if I need help in the shower, I should keep asking everyday. It wasn't successful so far. Maybe I should ask every few hours. But I get it, the aides don't want to get wet, I'm sure. And I have to wear hospital gowns just to go in and start cleaning my hair. I think I'll ask after the 7pm smoke break tonight. My friend said he might visit tomorrow and I really want my hair cleaned. So, if I'm in there from 8 to 9 (in case things go awry) it's not too late. My roommate goes to sleep by about 7:30pm. She shuts the lights off. And it's really not doing me any favors to have only a weak florescent overhead (over bed) light.

I still don't have (or wasn't given) an appointment with the retina specialist. But the opthalmologist set an appointment for me. I'm having warning signs, like black floating dots, etc. Not a ton, just like one here and there. When I had the eye surgery in my 20's that was a whole big detachment nightmare. I had constellations of floaters and a sharp shade over my left eye's field of vision. It was terrifying at the time. I'm so glad I had my wonderful t at the time. She came to visit me in the hospital, tried to get me to stop crying, etc. So I have nothing like that, but I've always been worried it might happen again.

@cog, when I took geodon without a meal, I suffered from nausea and other really unpleasant side effects. I think Geodon is one of the ones you need to eat with a meal. I got hives from it, too.

 This is how i eat my pizza since im lactose intolerant. Take all the cheese off, then put each topping on one by one.

Good evening everyone. How are things going?
Hugs to 12AM, I'm sorry things aren't going well with your pdoc.  I'm doing okay today. Was up from 8am till 2pm...then slept until 2am, and now I'm up wide awake.  Listening to music.

I had to google what CPTSD stands for and that sounds awful, like prolonged torture. I'm experiencing a negative symptom too which you know of and one thing I can still hang on to, that we can hold on to, is our sense of humor. If I try I'm able to smile through the pain. |
