I wouldn't marry someone that insisted on a prenup. I inherited my house and some money. It went to our joint account. When my in laws die my husband as an only child stands to inherit a couple houses and quite a bit monetarily. It will go into our joint account. We are married and everything we own is joint. If we were to divorce it would be up to us to act like adults and leave family inheritance alone.

Agree. When my ex bf and I talked about marriage all I have in my mind was a prenup, I didn’t feel safe with that man. But now with Nick I don’t need any prenup, I don’t mind sharing anything I have and I know he wouldn’t mind too.

I wouldn't care if he'd asked me to sign a prenup. I'm not after his money... however if I did actually have money I would ask for a prenup. I've been broke and homeless... I know I'd live.

You’re an exception i feel like, tho. I see sooo many people on facebook (not just my friends list) that talk about up and leaving someone just to get their stuff in a marriage. I see people making meme’s about how great it is to divorce someone and how great sugar daddies are. Its disgusting. More than half marriages right now end in divorce. More than half. Both my parents have been married at least a couple of times.

Maybe i dont have faith. But its really about protecting inheritance my parents worked for. My dad legit came to to texas from Mississippi with only a few hundred dollars and he built an empire practically.

Not sure about you or your husband. But this is about protecting a few million. At least. But that would also assume i get everything. Which im sure i wont. So maybe just a million. And im not talking about cash/bank accounts. Thats only a portion. This is that much in property mostly. In inheritance alone.

Yeah. There is something to be said for trust. When we got married it was forever. My husband has proven that over and over (with my psychosis). I can't imagine my life without him as my husband.

Most of that is in property tho. Sorry bout your luck!

My mom owns commercial property. And has oil on a farm. My dad doesnt fare as well as her, because she took almost everything he had in the divorce. But he has property too and other stuff.
