I don’t know how libraries are funded in the US, or maybe you’d be thinking about working for a university library or something where this probably wouldn’t be an issue. Or maybe you’re just thinking out loud, idk? But my friend works in a library and is currently doing her masters in library science. She really loves her job in a public library, but it’s also a tough job because there are so many budget cuts to local councils, and so the future existence of libraries all around the country here is uncertain.

Lots of libraries have closed, or been forced into relocating into smaller premises that they share building costs with other organisations/council services. Their book buying budgets have been slashed, and lots of libraries don’t get daily newspapers anymore. My friend is both trying to learn a second language and doing her masters to try to keep herself employable. It’s concerning for her, but also for everyone because lots of people can’t afford the internet or books etc, and I strongly believe that knowledge is power.

Anyway, I’m just posting this as something to think about when you weigh up the pros and cons. I hope it doesn’t come across as overly negative as that is not my intent. It’s just an FYI. As I said, she loves her job and wouldn’t change fields, so if you think you’d really like it too, then it’s worth a try. She got a Saturday job there in the beginning, to get her foot in the door around another job she had that she hated, and then was given more hours. Maybe you could try something like that, or a couple of hours volunteering, to see if you enjoyed it before committing financially to a masters??

Also, I was wondering how your mum was doing? Hope she is doing well, and that you’re coping ok with it all too

PS: I checked out your blog and really liked it

I know that you know that genes aren’t everything, but it’s still a worry for people My SIL had a genetic cancer as a teenager and 2 of my 3 nieces/nephew have the same gene, so they need to be tested regularly when they reach 7yo onwards. I mean, it’s a concern, but at least they know now so it could be caught early if it comes to that. And I think it’s the same thing with your situation

I don't remember things I do the day before like I really have to think about it. I'm not sure if what happened was today or yesterday sometimes. Beyond that is hopeless.

Humans only have a memory of like 3 days. That's why I like to type or write things down. But the motivation cuz I keep writing too much stuff when I do it and they're important things.

Society is getting to the point where we are questioning many absurd things. Donald Trump became president and now everyone is crazy, but in a way where we know the truth about what is happening with the government.

The government made it to control people so they don't lose their minds. Now it is falling apart and civilization is a test to see if it doesn't self destruct if so possibly like alien life.

But I see it happening with all the plastic bags everywhere. I don't see truth or false anymore. I can live my life but I can't help but be pessimistic nihilist misanthrope. Optimistic I can be and love people but I have to protect myself from my mind and environment.

Good morning everyone. How are things going today?

I'm doing pretty well. Just cleaned my piercing, took my meds, and now back to memorising music. Had my wife shave my head last night. Not really anything else planned today.

What's everyone up to?

Good morning. Made it until 5:15. Stupid sleep schedule.
Nothing planned for the day. Nice lazy Saturday. I should go to Walmart but that’s unlikely. I hate going there why ruin a perfectly good Saturday.
I’ve got to get some baileys for my coffee. It’s been a long time since I’ve had an Irish coffee. Maybe some tequila for margaritas. Love me some margaritas.
I’m going to finish my coffee snuggle up with my dog and try to get back to sleep.

Well getting back to sleep was a fail. I still have time though. Husband got called into work, already brought my son out to ride, daughter is still sleeping...plenty of time for a nap.
Took my Zoloft and gabapentin. I’d been forgetting again. Not long enough for the brain zaps.

Hoping they will charge my vape before 1. They usually do when I ask if I can charge it in my room.

I have a lot of depression these days. I want to go home.
