Will she be working on job sites? If so make her feel comfortable and a part of the team. The worst thing the guys can do is make stupid comments, especially of the sexual variety, and tell her that she cannot do a 'man's job'.

I had the privilege of experiencing some sexist attitude from men twice. The offenders were uneducated and older guys who were not open to change. I don't understand why ladies who work in the trades are so threatening to them. Most trades guys are great and don't mind ladies working alongside them.

I worked for my friend's drywall company for two summers and had fun. We sometimes did painting, which I really enjoyed. I usually did all the edging, because the guys struggled with it. They lacked fine hand-eye coordination, which women tend to be better at. - No one had an issue with my gender.

The bf kinda got upset with me today. I started to cry and get anxious cuz i thought i had diabetes.

He got angry cuz he said the negativity and me beating myself up for stuff needs to stop.

For a second i thought he was acting like an a-s-s but he started crying. And i asked him why he was crying and he said he has to play the bad guy every once and awhile or he will start crying too. He said me being negative all the time affects him lot too.

How do i stop being negative tho?

My mom was really negative for a while....we came up with a code word....martini.....so if she’s being negative I say martini and she stops.....

I don't complain much in real life but even that can cause some negativity so it's not so much complaining too much. Try talking about positive things in your life.

As it happens I watched the film last night and immediately bought the book after!

I thought the film was better than the critics said and as for the book it’s really well written and gripping. Enjoying it a lot. I’ll probably finish it today.

With me and the bf’s income right now, its gonna be hard to afford even an 800 dollar/month apartment.

Ive been searching up and down for cheap apartments. I cant find anything for under 800 in a safe area. And i say safe with a stretch cuz at this point im stretching “safe” into meaning “at least not where theres lots of crime like killings, carjackings, etc”. But i cant find a thing. Theres this really cheap area but its so known for high crime that even singers sang about the area.

I really dont know what to do. Or maybe im not looking in the right place. Im using the Zillow and rent.com app.

Im so lost.
