Possible trigger:

As the day went on I felt better. I had to sit for a presentation today for work and I think that helped my state of mind. Helped calm me down.

Like I said I’m feeling way better now than yesterday. I cried myself to sleep last night I was so down.

I think often about not taking my meds but after this it’s really hitting home how important it is for me to take my meds.

Do you have ocd cog? Anyway I’m Sorry your morning was bad and yesterday. Sometimes I get intrusive thoughts and I just tell myself it’s my mind trying to tell me not to do that thing, the less concerned you are the less the thoughts seem to circle. Of course it’s not always that easy or the same for everyone.

People are using both....snap chat was kinda slow to some extent too although busier than here. I always check back for people who need help if I have any advice at all though.

That’s an important realization. Some people never get there.
Sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Still wishing they had given you an AD.

Not diagnosed but I believe likely I have OCD. It comes out when I’m stressed. Pulling out my hair, washing hands, obsessive thoughts, stuff like that. It’s never really gotten a full inspection by my doctor or the psych though.

I don’t know enough about OCD treatments but you may want to discuss with your doc.

I think most OCD treatments involve ADs and desensitization. Like forcing yourself not to preform rituals and stuff.

I meant to mention it to my doctor yesterday but other things came up. I told him if I started pulling out my hair or something I would come back and asked him I had told him about that and he believes I had mentioned it before.

Like I said I meant to tell him about rituals I do before bed and stuff but other stuff seemed more important.

Sounds like a similar treatment to anxiety....I can see ADs but desensitization is not for me.....

Strangely, what worked for me is Lithium, but that was giving me tremors at 900mg and then I went on lamotrigine, and that also stopped my panic attacks too. I don't know why that is. My anxiety and panic attacks always starts with my stomach and discomfort, and then it grows and grows.
Yeah I noticed that everyone gets unique panic attacks based on the different symptoms that you can experience. My panic attacks on fluoxetine were so bad that I thought I was having seizures..

Good morning, it's super early. Only slept about 5 hours but I'm glad I slept, I was planning on pulling an all nighter but made myself go to bed.

I've got quite a bit going on today, laundromat, therapist, meeting with my advisor to pick new classes for the spring, and the gym. Plus work on school stuff.

I feel proud of myself for resolving to go to sleep the past couple nights, it's really a struggle for me due to anxiety.

I have ocd but mine is mainly obsessive intrusive thoughts
I have magical thinking which could be considered compilations.. this is gonna sound weird and prob not make sense but

putting my shoes on in a very particular order to ensure having a good day

using only One lighter throughout the day, the same one all day. even tho I have like 5 I have to use the same one. to ensure a good day

cracking my knuckles non stop to the point where my hands hurt

particular organization habits especially comes out at work. habits and routines.. get mad if someone interferes (happens a lot)

there's more but yeh that's the jist

Brain Lock is a great book for dealing with OCD. It helped me overcome my washing compulsions, praying compulsions and door locking compulsions when I was younger.

All this apprehension about food and sht trying to leave it behind. Food day at work and I’m eaten so much veggies and dip and shrimp cocktail and chips and cheese and pickles. Ugh.
