Hey!

I am going on a trip to Norway for a week, starting December 26th. I will be gone for a week.

I have been having problems now and then with my Schizophrenia. I get scary symptoms where my mind and body do funny things.

What can I do to insure the trip is safe and happy? I spoke with my therapist and we are going to make a list of coping strategies.

Is there anything else I can do? I want to go as prepared as possible so it goes well..

Thanks!

Maybe if you really get into planning the trip you will see potential pitfalls and be able to walk through it, in a way.

If you're on any medications be sure to bring them. Try to make sure you get good sleep, traveling is stressful even if it's for a good reason. If you have a PRN (as needed) medication be sure to bring that too so that could help you when/if you're having symptoms flare up. It's great that your therapist is helping you come up with a list of coping strategies, those are very useful!

Hope your trip goes well!
