Well, no real sleep,. Tried, but, just not happening. Feel pretty okay otherwise, though.

I do actually have some motivation this morning, for the first time in a long while. So, might actually be able to at least edit the hospital book. I am still okay for a holiday release, if I can just get going in the next few weeks. It is 90,000 words, so, fairly long. But it is finished. Just need to edit and then send on to my editor, who will of course, shred it, as usual. She is so thoughtful that way.

Love and hugs to everyone!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow you’ve got an editor....then you should charge a standard $10 for your book when you release it...I know I’ve read 90% of the books that cover psychosis regardless of price...Unless they’re super short....

No it’s an old photo, I don’t have a lot of current photos stuff is still on timed entry due to covid so I haven’t been to many of the really cool parks. Mainly posting for SK...

Rush oak park or the one in the medical district off the blue line? I lived in oak park eight years.....I first went to rush oak park when I was sick...they did not have a psychiatrist on call so my treatment was delayed...they never told me I was sick even though I was clearly psychotic....kind pissed off at that...it’s not like I had insight.

I really love t storms in the city but in the farther burbs they can actually be a little scary like with tornados 🌪 and stuff.

Albeit, I will give one city exception where I was on the beach and the wind picked up for a storm and we all got sand blasted.....

Yeah when I lived in the south/midwest it was scary especially when the tornado sirens went off.

Yeah, it is where the psych unit was in those days, or one of them, anyway. So, yeah. They actually kicked me out of the program. Ha!!!!!! I was a very baaaaaad patient, or something. Sent me to this place in Santa Fe that was way, way better. Awesome place. Love Santa Fe. Could totally live there again, if my kids and dad weren't out here.

Everyone’s favorite tends to be the center cannot hold, by ellyn saks.....she is a law prof. somewhere in Cali. One I liked was by Mark Vonnegut...the eden express, he later became a doctor so you might be catching the theme of successful people who recovered from psychosis. Me, myself, and them was also good....probably the first I read.

Yeah a lot of the psych units have been closed like my old boss told me they had one at Loyola when she did residency, but now they just have the state hospital next door.

Reading my psychology textbook. Talking about psychological testing and intelligence testing. What is intelligence? How can you really measure it? People aren’t smart at everything.
