Facinating study just coming out, I think from the Brigham maybe, showing that infants with significant sleep problems are at much higher risk of psychosis and borderline personlaity disorder in like teanageish years. So interesting. So, does this mean borderline may have a genetic component and sleep is an early manifestation, or, is the early sleep trouble causal? Fascinating.

Whatever, we all know that sleep trouble is huge in almost all bipolar people. Is it a problem in schizophrenia? I do not know.

Too much sleep or too little....my standard sleep was ten hours a night for most of my life, sucks until you start going without sleep then it’s a gift....for me in addition to whatever I’ve got going with bipolar I have a mutation in a gene called clock that regulates circadian rhythm....

Oh wow, i am sorry. How did you find out about that mutation, if it is not too intrusive to ask?

Had the lunch. Burger, potato salad, watermelon, apple, Cheetos, and a bottled water.

Having a panic attack now though.

The aquarium was fantastic. We got there like an hour early. So we had a snack in the car and then walked around the harbor looking at the boats, and looked at the waterfall by the aquarium. We saw so many fish, turtles, coral, sand dollars, sea horses, penguins, puffins, sea lions, sea horses, jellies!!!!, sharks, sting rays, birds--I got to feed the lorakeets! That was super fun! It was a really nice day. Best birthday I have had in years.

It does but it has a side effect of looking at my thoughts instead of being them (Dissociation). It scares me and makes me think about psychosis.
