College introduction starts tomorrow and will last for a week, got 2 days camping included. Next week classes'll start.

This college year has been hard, with struggling to stick with the group assignments, with failing to feel connected to the studies, with quitting again.

Been staying in a mental hospital three times after quitting, which all together lasted for almost 20 weeks. When we were released they wanted us to go to a clinical group treatment programm, it didn't go through. The other option was a group treatment for 3 days, but then we decided all we really wanted was studying, even though we were told not to be ready for studying.

So here we are, at the start of College, hoping to prove them wrong, and live a happy college live...

..but honestly...yes I'm a little afraid.

Good luck!
I work with professors at my university, but
I can assure you that the new year leaves me
feeling a little nervous myself.
The resumption of classes for another year feels
like the start of an experience of Lent (or your
creed's period of self-restraint, penance for
sins committed, and so on).

You can do it. Just pace yourself and don't allow yourself to get overwhelmed . Rest enough and stay away from too much coffee tea and things that overstimulate you.
I got an A.S. in Environmental Science with schizoaffective/bipolar type and PTSD.

Thanks for your reactions, appreciate it.

First day started okay, but it got really hard in the end, feel so different from the other people in class, and like being trapped in there, just wanted to run outside. It felt all too much like last year...went home totally mixed up, feeling suicidal and couldn't stop crying for some time..was on the verge of giving up.

Decided now not to go to the camp days, but give this another chance when classes start next week.
