I'm dreading it. Four whole months of constant worry, guilt, and the pervasive feeling that I'll get caught and punished for "being a bad student" and for not doing well enough to get a good grade.
Every spare minute of my time will be spent worrying that I really should get everything done right now. Do it now when I'm only somewhat tired, or do it at the end of the term when I'll be utterly exhausted, unable to think, and resentful at myself for waiting until the last minute. A good student would know to do it now so she can relax, but I know I'll procrastinate and resent. That's why I'm a bad student. I wish I were a good student so I wouldn't have to worry. But apparently I don't wish for it enough to actually apply myself. |

Hi winterglen. You are letting your fears get the best of you. Don't let that happen. You can be a good student too. You need peace of mind, relax and unwind. Nothing in this world is difficult, we just make it difficult. Take things slowly, you will definitely get through this phase.

I froze with fear not exactly because of school itself, but because there is a required internship and I really did not feel that I had the energy or concentration to do it. I totally freaked out. It was horrible.
Finally after becoming so upset I was nearly suicidal, my shrink gave in and found me a med that boosts energy. He also increased my anti-depressant. It's starting to work and my attitude is more positive. I still have doubts and worry but it does feel possible now. Shifting my attitude did wonders. I hope that can happen for you.
