My Goal is to study 20 hours this week. So far I have 17 left. and it's Monday

Reward: Frozen Yogurt/Ice cream

Mainly this is for motivation. What's your goal?

I took my last test for this round, and my study skills need to improve.... (68%) I'm a little ticked off for not doing as well as I wanted. I thought it would be easy because of how the instructor lectures... I was wrong. I have to learn Every little piece of information, and study earlier. So far 15 hours until my goal.

OP, that is an awesome goal. I'm looking forward to an update thread with a picture of Yogurt or Ice Cream.

My goal, get back in school. I was set to graduate Dec 13 and dropped out to seek more intensive treatment. It's disappointing.

Abe, It is disappointing, but being able to go back to school is awesome. When do you think/hope you will be graduating?

Be carefull, don't eat to much ice cream. It's a delicious reward, but has to much sugar and grease.
I don't reward my self or establish these kind of goals. It gets frustrating, checking the time to much frequently. I prefer to decide the amount of things and what I want to study, regarding the time I take to do it, I think it's more productive.
I don't think there is a reward that would get me motivated...being late and having a lot of things to study is my drive.

Everyone is different, I still have things to do but, its late. I was one hour short, but the main thing is that I accomplished more than I did the past 2 weeks. I'll try again this week, starting Monday, for now its time for reading for fun

It's easier for me if I find something to help me enjoy studying whatever. I have been procrastinating studying for the State insurance test and when I study and then take mini-tests I don't do well after awhile (too long in the procrastination department, not long enough in the "study" department :-) so today I am starting something new, I am going to write a "story" about what I'm reading I enjoy writing and the challenge of writing so I'm going to create monsters or otherwise anthropomorphize these numbers and concepts so they'll "stick" better.
