*** I MEANT MEDICAL MAJOR IN THE TITLE
I'm planning to become a doctor, but not just any medicine-woman. I love Earth's nature and I feel we are missing out on potential cures and remedies that the soil has to offer to us. I one day want to use natural ingredients such as extracts, herbs, etc. to make beneficial medicines. Basically, I'm more of a passive, natural person, but I will of course work with modern medicine. A pre-med major is what I'm shooting for, and based on my interests, does this suit me? I haven't been on a college major hunt during school, so I want to make sure that there might be other majors that could fit my interests. If there's anything else I need to mention, I'll comment below. Thanks! |

well i think you really need to research this. i dont believe modern medicine teaches what you are looking for. i believe you have to get that information on the outside. i think what you are looking for is a natureopath. i didnt spell that right i know. i wouldnt know if they offer a specialty in that in med school in that or not. You may have to go to a special school for it. before i settled for meds, i looked for every other way to cure my mental illness and i searched the metaphysical world, they use the essential oils, flower remedies, energy work and such. i learned reiki. it is really powerful stuff. none of it cured my mental illness but i did do work with others and was part of some pretty miraculous healings, so go explore.
