I'm going back to school after a long period of not being in school at all and I'm really worried about how its going to go. I get anxious over everything. I wish I knew that i was going to do okay. Does anyone have any advice for starting to go to school again?

What I try to do a couple weeks ahead of time is to start the daily routine, getting up early, having a high protein breakfast, doing exercises, reading books, organizing my life like room and cleaning out car. This helps me move into the school routine easier.

I started college last year online. I never went to high school. I was really scared I would not do well. I think being well rested, having a good diet, to keep your brain well fed and maybe taking an introductory course if offered will help you get into th e swing of things. My best advice aftert hat is just to try to finish each assignment, as this matters.

I found some quick reads for you here on PsychCentral.

You might want to have a look, when you're at college and feeling a bit stressed out or whatever, might be worth your while having a look

Talking with your teacher beforehand really helps in my op. he might we willing to lend you an extra hand. Also, try to meet up with someone in your class prior to attending.
