I am going back to school part time. This is hard for me as I am used to completing a lot of credits at once. Last year I had a breakdown and had to put my studies on hold. This year I am starting to go back part time for the next two semesters. My therapist and my family think that part time is probably best for me right now since I am still recovering.

The hardest part of going through the break down has been how slow the recovery has been. I don't mean to complain, I know that for some people it takes years to recover, if ever. I'm just used to pushing hard through my life and accomplishing large amounts of work while I do it.

Pushing through and accomplishing large amounts of work has changed for me in the last 9 months. The victories have become smaller. The work of getting my health together has been the most important part of achievement for me and I am not used to that. Bipolar is making me slow down and reevaluate my life.

So it is good to be getting back into school and beginning that journey again. It means so much to me to continue my goals. I am just trying to accept that my goals may take a little longer than I first anticipated. I have to learn to be alright with that.

I'm learning.

Good for you sheisalive. Go for it. It does not matter how long the journey is. Just enjoy getting there.

That's great that you are able to get back to school and work on your goals Working towards goals can be a tricky and bumpy road but just like CANDC said it can be a very interesting journey to get there!

I hope it all goes well
