It took me a good 3 months to finally getting an IEP. It has been worth it. I have the official IPRC meeting in a week and a day and excited and nervous at he same it. They said I have regular class with resource assistance. I don't understand really what that means. Does that mean I have an assistant help me understand things I don't get? This is under the behaviour category because of the anxiety issues I have (only 2). But they have caused me a lot of pain. Anyways, that's my story.

Wondering, has anyone here received or their child received an IEP. What placement did they/you get? What category are they/you considered under?

Thanks for reading Received an IEP finally!!

I am an ESE teacher. Regular class with Resource help means that an ESE teacher will push into your classroom and assist you for so many minutes per week (whatever minutes it was determined that you needed on your IEP and in what classes).
Thanks for this!

Thanks. I asked my special services teacher, and she just told me that it was just for some of my accommodations that made her put down resource assistance. Like, she said indirect was seeing once a semester, and withdrawal was learning strats and both those options weren't good for me, so she put resource assistance. I thought it was someone to come to my classes to help me, but she said that's not what it is. I also looked on the site of the school board, and it says the same thing, and she said that's not what it is so.... I don't know then. Thanks for the response Received an IEP finally! .
