I have tried the whole college thing twice and both times I had to withdrawal because my symptoms flared up. I think my problem is not only the stress but the social aspect. I am terrified of going out in public especially in a classroom setting. But my husband is in Grad school online and I thought that maybe the online school thing might be worth a try. What's your opinion with online schools and people like us that tend to suffer a little more? Is it worth a try?

One of my degrees is from a well accredited online university (Accredited Online College | UMUC) and I recommend it highly.

I had to dis-enroll from high school at one point. I know that you are talking about college classes, but I was taking online classes through BYU. I would say that it really depends on your style of learning. I am a kinesthetic learner who really does better in an interactive setting (where I can listen to the professor, ask questions, etc.) I was getting Bs and As in regular school with my symptoms (until they got so bad that I was hospitalized- hence my dis-enrollment). And I was failing online classes with little-no symptoms. I just couldn't deal with everything being read the material, take an online test format.
