Hi I really need some advise about my future regarding education.
Im 21 years old and at this age I should be like 3 years or more into a career however due my depression and bad decisions* I just started studying again last September but I feel sad and lost about what to dedicate my life.
1 year ago on August 2014 I started studying Arquitecture stayed a very short time but I kind of enjoyed it, if i remember correctly, but like i said because of my depression i quit, my decision brought me some problems with my family however I made the choice to try a new career and here I am, studying mechanical engineering but I havent felt happy or satisfied of being there all I focused on* was not to quit again and now I am about to fail 2 subjects and it just makes me feel so worthless, it makes me question if this is really what I want to study or its just the depression thats giving me a hard time.
Anyway Id appreciatte some toughs or advise cause right now I feel Im studying something I really dont like and might end wasting my life even more.

Aldan44, can you just take the basic foundation that is pretty much basic without any specialties for right now? And did you like architecture? Then take or or more of those classes again. Designing buildings is wonderful, you make it an artistic expression of who you are. Ask yourself if you build would it be to improve earth quake zones? Or would it be to help impoverishment? There are so many ethnic angles to why you want to do something. Mostly it would be your contribution in the world of how you helped humanity in one way or another. If you looked at things like that it might give you a sense of purpose and lift your spirits. It is always worth a try. I wish you success and remember Rome was not built in a day. So our lives we live each day finding the beautiful of surprises all the time..tc
Thanks for this!

Thanks Sadly I cant take more of those classes since I changed my career and institution I think I rushed the decision to quit but mostly it was cause my family preassuring me that I changed career cause I could have returned for the next semester, also I didnt had the time to experience everything it had to offer but something I know is that I enjoyed more being there than my actual career

What did you want to be when you were a child?

I followed my dream although my parents said it's a bad choice. Now I earn money with that.

I only want to talk to a professional before I make any decision.
