I'm a guitarist, which helps a bit. For sense of self-worth, nothing works for me, at least not much, but perhaps the guitar is something, ... I mean, making music is pretty cool, right?

I've given up on all activities I used to do and enjoy. Draw, quilt, crochet, these things brought me great pleasure, however the depression has taken all the fun out of everything for the moment.

Art (painting or drawing). Taking art classes were also helpful for me, because it allowed me to meet other people with similar interests. Even going to an art museum was therapeutic.

Also -- Eating out. Everyone loves food A good dining experience always makes my day

What helps me is speed skating, but I don't know if you can do that. I understand that not many people can do that, but for me, it gives a sense of "I can do it" and it also helps me release in a way that is not self-destructive.

My work has always given me a sense of worth. So does creating things - I make jewelry.

I cook, whether for myself or for friends. To some extent, I am an intuitive cook, so it's sufficiently within my comfort zone that I can also experiment. Through food, I get to bring others together, spread a little happiness, and also find comfort in cooking well. Even when I'm extremely depressed, it makes me feel a bit happier and more secure.
Thanks for this!

I also make jewelry and plan to learn how to produce hand-made cards with stamping, etc., because jewelry-making takes care of presents for women, and so I want to at least know how to make a unique birthday card to send to a male friend.

Blogging helps me a lot. Writing out my feelings and putting it out there makes me feel self-worthy.
