To me self help means finding the resources to help myself and then using them. It means to remember occassional setbacks will occur but that's all they are. It means using sayings like"This Too Shall Pass". It means that something may seem little & insuffigant(sp) but if it helps me in the moment-then good. It means alot of things to me especially that I Can Help Myself but I need and want others around.

ok i cant resist. sometimes self help means taking 3 klonopins a day. my pdoc gave me an extra 10 a month for days when i feel like im going crazy. i usually just take the 2 prescribed. also lately ive found that singing songs out of an old hymnal helps me. i sing them to my baby girl & she likes them. after baby is asleep at night it helps me to go on here & vent after a stressful day.
