I'm wanting to work for a research centre and am writing up my CV but I have at least 10 years that I can't really account for. Severe depression meant that a one year degree took me about 5 years to finish. I had to abandon a Masters degree I started because I lost the ability to read (depression and meds). For a year or two all I managed to do was bead. I worked in a shop for several years but it seems better to not even include that. For the last few years I have had part time work and have improved a lot but I don't know how to explain the preceding decade. My academic record (from before) is really good - cum laude, etc etc. Can anyone assist?

I omitted 2 or 3 jobs, I have Dissociative Identity Disorder so that is normal. Well, the social security earnings statement might be of help. Call and ask for one of them to be mailed.
Thanks for this!
