A therapist told me: "if you can change your mind, then you will change your behavior."

Here is a list of positive affirmations that help with mental health and habit change. She suggested putting them into a reminder app on my phone so I see one everyday before bed and in the morning when I wake up.

I find it easy to get past grief
I am not afraid that the future will be worse*
I feel I am on the right path
I have achieved so much already
In most ways my life is ideal*
I like making it up a I go along
I rarely make a wrong decision
I control my life and the outcome I will get
I am grateful for the life I've had
I appreciate my life daily
I feel my failures have helped me
People say I make life easier for them
People are sent to help me
People say I make them feel I can succeed*
I find it easy to know how others react
I have no doubt that things will work out when I try something new
Whatever happens I will eventually find the positive side
I feel comfortable trusting my partner and friends
I have long term friendships
I can rely on others help when I need it
I feel others like me
In most ways my relationships are ideal
I feel supported by the people around me
I look for the good in others
I trust others
I feel like everything is helping me
I am never depressed
I know what inspires me
I feel satisfied with my life
I slow down to enjoy life
I find I can forgive easily
I have fun a lot of the time
I am always delighted with myself
I laugh often and see humor in everyday life
I care about what others think of me only if they can affect me
I do t ask for advice from people who haven't done what I want to do
Whatever life throws at me, I'll handle it
I know I will succeed*
I never worry
I like myself
I know my limitations*
I know everything will always work out for the best
I can create the outcome I want from a situation*
I find decisions easy
Whatever task I'm doing, I always do it well
I never feel lonely
I trust my instincts
I don't procrastinate*
I hope for everything good
I choose how I feel in all situations
I refuse to be beaten*
I refuse to take my problems too seriously
